I just wanted to say Happy 4th of July
laughing, since Canada day was on the 1st
-insert Team America: World Police theme song-
Is that Rob Ford on the right? XD
Perfect moment to post this. XD
You're not the only one laughing. Holy shit, Drake could castrate a cow with that mouth.
Screw this holiday I hate it so much.
All it does is scare my dog. People start lighting fireworks off at sun up on the 3rd and don't stop until sun down on the 5th.
I wish it was like that for me, they start firing on the 3rd and don't stop till the end of the month, it's like they have fucktons of fireworks to burn for some reason V___V
Those bull balls were the fuckin best he ever had, best he ever had, best he ever had.
I'd count myself lucky if it still wasn't days of scaring my dog. And yeah, people have way too many fireworks. It's probably only shorter here because they're illegal and the cops start prowling.
They've started in June here because it's the first year that fireworks are legal. It's strange, because fireworks have always been illegal here, since before I was born. We'd have to go across the border to buy fireworks, and sneak them back, avoiding the police who were always on the roads on the border making traffic stops to search cars for illegal fireworks. Now, I see them for sale here at the store, and it's really weird to me.
Do you happen to live in Jersey, lol?
Edit: Don't mean to ask such a personal question, your stuation just sounds very similar to my situation.
Close. New York.
Yeah, fuck fireworks. They drive my mom's dog insane. My dad blew half his hand off with a firecracker when he was a kid, so I really have no desire to play with em' either.
Fireworks are still illegal in New Jersey as far as I know, but I wasn't absolutely sure if that had changed. Going into Pennsy for fireworks and avoiding the cops, lol, everyone does that.
They're amusing for a while, but after you've used one you've used them all. As for your dad's hand, that must have been painful as hell.
Do you happen to like any sports? And if so, any teams?
Yeah, they're still illegal in New Jersey. There were notices in the paper warning New Jersey residents that fireworks remain illegal despite the (partial) legal status in bordering states.
We always snuck into Pennsylvania to get fireworks. It helps that our town is right on the border of Pennsylvania too.
Only smaller fireworks are legal here now though (such as cones, fountains, and sparklers). So, I'm sure people are still sneaking over for the bigger stuff.
It's almost 1AM, enough with the damn fireworks already!
Nothing, because I don't live there lmao.
Merica tho.
It's been 3 HOURS! How many Fireworks do these freaks have. I hate my neighbors.
He looks like Stephen Colbert and Weird Al Yankovich made a baby...
Same way people in Massachusetts make runs out to New Hampshire.
I love it, it lets me go shooting at night. Its the best time to go hunting, to avoid dealing with noisy neighbors.
I'm not a big sports fan. I did go to a Yankees game once, and enjoyed it. It's so much more fun to watch live than on television. I also went to games at my local city's teams, the Pioneers (baseball) and Jackals (hockey).
I like more offbeat sports personally. I really like dragon boat racing. There's a great dragon boat competition in Ithaca, NY, and I'm not far away from there.
Nice, Nice.
I live in New England so let's just say I'm not the biggest Yankees fan among other things. Good to hear you're not one of them....
