Where should I get to in the books/show before starting the game?

I've only recently just started to read and watch Game of Thrones, is there a certain point at which I should get to in the books/shows before starting this game?

    The show, since the books don't really do much for the game, the Forresteers ar mentione in one sentence :D

    The game is set in the show adaption, that's why I suggested that instead :D

    If I'm honest, I'd watch up only until the end of Season 3. The Show's kind of gone way downhill & off track ever since Season 4, but it's not been that obvious until Season 5 made Ramsay Bolton a God. :/ But I suggest watching all the way through & to read the books. As the books are where the Forresters originated, even if only mentioned in one line, & the books covers a lot more of the lore that shows up in the Game.
