Scenes from the "trailers" missing in the game ?
Hi !
I've recently finished The Wolf Among Us, which is now IMO one of my favourite games ^^ because of the universe, the characters, the story and its mindblowing ending !
But I saw something strange while playing : every time, in the ending of each chapter, there's some kind of trailer "Next time on the Wolf Among Us...". In these trailers, you can see some scenes that are totally missing in the following chapters, regardless of the choices that the player makes ! For example, a scene where Brannigan follows Bigby in the Woodlands, or Crane drops a Glamour Tube in his car while driving...
Do you know why these scenes don't appear later in the game ?
I still have an hypothesis : knowing that these chapters were released at differents periods, it's possible that these scenes were cut during the developpement while there were still in-game when the trailers were made...
But I would like another points of view, from people that know more about TWAU than me. What do you think about it ?
(By the way, forgive about my strange way of talking, but english isn't my native language X) I just hope that my posts will be clear and understandable...)

Those kind of trailers have been in probably every Telltale game ever. In the end, you should treat them not as actual footage trailers, but more like guidelines and hints at what's going to happen in the next episode.
This ^^ Tales from the Borderlands is implying that perfectly
Bill Willingham wasn't happy with the episode, probably broke the canon, or used material he didn't want in it. All I know, they had the scrap the episode and make an entirely new episode. If you notice, Georgie Porgie voice sounds more American than British in the trailer.
Tbh, I'm glad they changed Georgie's voice. :P
Me too.
Okay, thanks for giving me your point of view. I really wanted to have an explanation, because it's kind of frustrating to see all these scenes and not to know what to do to "reach" them... About Georgie's voice, I'm not very good at recognizing voices in a foreign language, so I didn't noticed this difference. Nevertheless, it's very interessting to see
BTW, Fat_Turt, what does it mean to "break the cannon" ?
*canon, sorry
It means creating something/making characters do something that is against the source of it. For example, Fables is the source of TWAU and Bigby has married Snow in Fables. Therefore, making Bigby marry someone else in TWAU would break canon
That's pretty common in Telltale games.
Okay, thanks ! Now I understand ^^
LOL, i notice this playing TWD.
