I will revive this thread from the dead. LONG LIVE THE KORRA DYNASTY!
here's a thing I made. Sorry for the weird white blotches I can't get them out and I'm bad at accurate sizes so yeah.
That doesn't look too good (well the game really does look good graphically, but the reviews don't). I usually don't put too much trust in … morereviews, but I do get a little hesitant when they're universally calling it between mediocre and somewhat decent. I'll likely give it a try anyway and form my own opinion, but I'll wait until it goes on sale.

Because it came out of nowhere. and don't give me the "IF YOU ANALYZED IT PROPERLY, THEY WERE CLEARLY MORE THAN FRIENDS". All the stuff they have done are literally what good friends do, there was no proof they were lovers, then all of a sudden, BAM theyre a couple for no reason.
Oh please, it happened 7 MONTHS AGO. Get over it. It happened and there it is. The simple fact is that Korra and Asami got along better than either did with anyone else. They connected not only on a physical level (like with Mako) but on a deeper emotional level. The ending didn't "come out of nowhere." It signified the beginning of a romantic relationship, one built on a strong foundation of friendship and trust....How could you still be pissed over it half a year later? Seriously.

If TWD Luke fans can still be pissed over Luke's death, then I can still be pissed over Korrasami coming completely out of the blue. Yes, they were friends, big whoop, how does that all of a sudden mean BAM, THEYRE A COUPLE. YAY.

Not gonna get into this with you. I get it. You're bitter. Yay. But just like Luke's death, it happened, and at some point you're just gonna have to accept it.

Dialogue like that is stuff that friends say to each other. I've seen plenty of people say things like this to their friends. all the things they did was exactly the sort of stuff that friends do. They didn't do anything a couple would do. Thats why I thought it was so "out of nowhere"

I felt sorry for Azula by the end of the show. She became so misguided and corrupted by her fathers' insidious vision that it turned her into a power drunk mess by the end of the show.
while i do technically agree with your arguments, it's a musclular delicious brown and a girl that looks like a cake, sure it might be badly written pandering but by god, is it good pandering

Not necessarily. People are shaped by their influences and what they surround themselves with. If anything, she is a representation of what would've became of Zukko had he not had Iroh guiding him.
And it didn't help that by the end of the series, Azula didn't have a friend or a family member in the world to show her compassion. She was completely alone.
In the flashbacks, as a child, before Zuko's ostracization, we see a young girl already hell bent on obtaining power. Was that partly because of her position as a princess? Sure. But just as a murder is a murder regardless of their upbringing, Azula was a power hungry person.

I forgot exactly how old Azula was during the flashbacks, but I assumed that she acted out that way because of her fulfillment to make her father proud. I figured the power craving distorted view was until after she garnered what she considered was his love.
Hell, Zuko was never appreciated by Ozia and he still was feigning for his affection even after he banished and scarred him as a young child.
Children actively crave affection and attention, and Ursa was never very close to Azula so all she had to fill that gap was Ozia.

Because she viewed Ursa as weak... which was because she wanted Ozia's love and his own ideal's trickled down to her because of her embellishment with him as a strong figure she could look up to.

tbh azura made me uncomfortable from the start, i knew she would be massive trouble ever since she first appeared. i couldn't feel sympathy, because she enjoyed hurting zuko not only physically, but emotionally and mentally too.

The point remains her viewpoints stem from her father. One of my favorite scenes from the entire show is when she is looking in the mirror, basically having an emotional breakdown. The pain and anguish drawn from her face tells a much more painful story than many of the other characters throughout the show.

Looking back at this and you say ''I usually don't put too much trust in reviews'' I gave you a review LOL sorry.
^^
I'm not sorry to revive this because...
Still pissed that Korra x Asami happened.
Why?
Because it came out of nowhere. and don't give me the "IF YOU ANALYZED IT PROPERLY, THEY WERE CLEARLY MORE THAN FRIENDS". All the stuff they have done are literally what good friends do, there was no proof they were lovers, then all of a sudden, BAM theyre a couple for no reason.
For what it's worth...I hated Zhurrick as well.

I wouldn't say I'm pissed that it happened, but I will say that it was a really stupid way to end the show.
Lol. What?
Her lust for power began when she was but a wee babe.

And why do you think she disregarded her mother, whom actively tried to show love and affection for her?
Because she viewed Ursa as weak... which was because she wanted Ozia's love and his own ideal's trickled down to her because of her embellishment with him as a strong figure she could look up to.
And why she view her mother as weak? Why did she only quest for her "strong" father's affection? Because she was power obsessed already.

Does this mean a new animated series based on a comic or just a comic?
We can go tip for tap on this.

Her constant power hungry ways left her empty and damaged.
