Woah you better watch it man, or he might use 4 exclamation points in his next post

    !!!!!!!!!!!!!! um no lol

You can have an opinion here, you just have about 3 seconds before someone finds a reason to get pissed off at said opinion

Well, he's a character a lot of people love and are loyal to him while other's hate him and hate people talking about how much they love him

While Kenny being second (or being on this list period) is debatable, I'm actually more concerned about Joel being first place

They pretty much broke their own rules for the list, then tried to loophole their way out of it with a slippery-slope explanation for why Joel is fair game

  • Controversial characters do that sort of thing. When was the last time you saw someone have a civil debate about John Cena?

Why does every Kenny related post need to have some sort of tension? Either there is some sort of baiting, a civil opinion is thought to be

Good point. It's pretty common sadly. Still it ruins the fun for others who wants to talk about their favourite in a civil manner when someone has to light the match for a flame war. :/

  • Lemme get me back at this. Why is Joel #1? He lied to Ellie....

  • I think 3 seconds is a bit of a stretch, if you have an opinion and someone disagrees with you have about 1 second to get the hell out of there. :P

  • Cheers.

What I liked about Harry Mason was how he wasn't an angsty and emotionally distant father who struggled to overcome the loss of his partner, he was a friendly chap who did his best to raise his adopted kid, and the kid loved him in return.

Kenny and Joel doesn't hold a candle to Harry Mason, especially when Harry goes through two successful fatherhoods in his life with Cheryl and Heather (even if they're technically the same person).

This guy... This guy knows what's up.

  • Racism, Lee is a better dad.

  • I don't recall in the 15 or odd minutes his daughter was alive that he, drove on the wrong way of the high way for 5 miles, Walked through a death trap maze set up by a serial killer, cut his finger off and drank a poison vial without second thoughts. I call bias on WatchMojo. Bias fucking bullshit -_-

  • Pretty much why I hinted earlier that the title is misleading.

It's the character arc and personality that ranks them high on the list, not their proof of their devotion to their children.

  • I have no ideal.

I love Joel as a character, but he was not someone you'd want to associate the term "fatherly" with. He deceived Ellie and committed an atrocity for his own selfish gain with no regards for what Ellie wanted. He loved her, sure, but he is a monster nonetheless.

  • I don't see what's wrong with that. You can see he still loves his son, but he is, as dumb as a box of hammers. I think Duck has ADHD or something. Dads say that stuff all the time, well around where I'm from anyway. He's giving crap to him but at the same time being light-hearted. Did you turn the volume down and just read the subtitles? You can hear the light-heartedness in the way he says it. If you think Kenny was saying that as a direct attack at his son then you are twisting the quote well around, and it isn't how it is presented.

The dad who called his son dumb as a box of hammers, lol. Okay, Watchmojo.

  • Oh yeah he is a monster alright. He would kill even after getting intel. I'd rather die than confess and die l0l

  • Harian do you even understand how The Walking Dead is supposed to be played? The whole point of a choice system is everyone forms different opinions and comes out with a different message or view on the characters. Saying 'why is this violent monster so insanely popular', is just ignorant. He was popular because in other peoples playthroughs, he may not have done certain things as in yours, or, they saw it as a form of protection and not outright 'violence'.
I can understand you not liking him, but personally he was one of my favourite characters, and I treated him as a fatherly figure to Clem in Season 2 anyway...but, yet again, that is MY OWN play through, no one else.
Why can't people ever seem to understand this?

Lee should have been the second best dad in video games (even though he wasn't really Clem's dad) - why is a sociopath like Kenny up there,

  • Lee isn't a dad, he took after a child he found...But that hardly makes that his child.

Yeah, I totally played the whole game on mute. ::eyeroll::

You interpret that scene the way you want and i'll interpret it the way I want, which is he just told a total stranger, out of the blue, that his son is dumb. He wasnt cheefully joshing Duck. He was insulting him. Yeah, he might have meant it good naturedly but that doesnt change what it is. That was the first thing i really noticed about Kenny and I thought it was an odd thing to say even then.

I agree so much. I feel the exact same way when people bash Queen Jane.
