Death of a TV character which hurt you the most
There have been plenty of significant deaths in many TV series, and each one of them has left a little scar in my feelings, especially when I recall the times where I rooted for that same character who turned to die in, at times, totally unexpected moments. Now if I had to pick the one that has had the biggest impact on me, judging by the character himself, how he died, and how is death was executed, I'd surely pick Nate Fisher Jr. from Six Feet Under. He had been through so many hard things, and when he finally seemed to have had made it out, he dies while a dreamlike sequence subtly anticipates his death. What was the death of a TV character that has had the biggest impact for you guys? I'm curious to know.
One other thing: Please don't forget to put a spoiler alert for whatever TV series you want to talk about.

Mine I just miss the character so much he made everything so exciting and was such a smart villain the best thing about the show imo
The one that typically comes to mind is the scene from Breaking Bad where Jesse's girlfriend Andrea is shot in front of him.

Aaron Paul is such an underrated actor.
Wesley Wyndam-Price from Angel.
It wasn't the first time I cried while watching that show, but that scene was the one that hit me the hardest. "Lie to me, please." Gets me every fucking time.
Holy shit that scene was so painful.
Made all the worse by how close to home they were.

i freaking love aaron paul's acting here. so realistic.
i actually screamed here.
Well there is quite a few character deaths that made me sad, but one that probably affected me the most when i saw it was this one from Flash

I was rooting for that death. That man was an idiot.
Well, not to be pointy, but the topic is about the one which affected you the most, not a list of those which made you sad.
I've considered a few, good candidates here and there(AMC's Walking Dead, others from HBO's Game of Thrones), but I finally settled on Catelyn Stark. I didn't much care for Robb. Emotionally, he seemed to have a stick stuck straight up his ass most of the time we saw him on screen. That doesn't make his death any less sad, but it's his mother we get to see go through a lot of ups and downs to get her son to where he was. In truth, it was that whole scene overall, but if I had to pick one of them, it would have to be Catelyn. They believed that they were giving Lord Frey what he would be satisfied with, and victory for the North was so close they could taste it. The only thing that could take it away was a violation of guest rite sanctioned by the Iron Throne, or the governing house. In the end, justice was out of reach and she was helpless to do anything to protect her children. Lord Walder had the entire host of the Northern nobles and bannermen by the scruff of the neck and deep in their cups, and he took his vengeance with the utmost prejudice.
I remember when Eddard Stark died and the people who interviewed HBO's team were asking, "why did you kill off your 'main guy' at the end of the first season?" because they had to be thinking, "this is good stuff, their audience must be really surprised or angry about this!" I'm sure they did a great job explaining it, but, "because that's a major event in the books and we can't change it, so shut up" could have easily sufficed. I mean, we were told it was going to happen. Not sure if that counts as a spoiler here, though.
Luther TV show spoilers!!!
Justin Ripley, I mean, fuck he was such a great guy and he had been Luther's apprentice and moral compass since the first series, shit that hurt so much I was all misty eyed and pretty much about to cry, damned, and it was executed brilliantly with that whole duality vigilante thing and the question of whether our morally ambiguous law-bending detective was like him or not, the themes in that show were amazing I fucking loved it, shame it's over but at least we're getting an Alice Morgan Spin-off and possibly a movie? I'm not too keen on the American remake since I loved Idris Elba as Luther too much not to mention that being a London detective meant he didn't carry a gun with him which made situations that would normally have been shootouts into a game of wits, I mean Alex Cross is still writing but it would be against Luther's characterization to not shoot if he had a gun, so those amazing bits will either be a bit contrived or gone.
Well I was gonna go on a rant about how that doesn't make sense to me, but then I read in the wiki about the reason why she did it, and that just seems silly.
Justin Ripley is actually in my top 3, especially since his death happened right after Luther basically said "I think you're ready to have your own apprentice" .however Nate prevailed on him because, differently from Nate's death, I saw Justin's death coming and also Nate had been through tougher shit than Justin before dying.
Ah and just to bring it out, the second place is occupied by Nicholas Brody from Homeland.
Yes, it was.
And the fact the camera lingers on Jesse's reaction so closely immediately after Andrea is shot makes his pain all the more hard to witness.
Michael Scofield, that made me cry so bad man
well isnt it kinda the same? i mean you did say affected, they affected my feelings jaja.
What show is this?
Aeryn Sun in Farscape.
Fortunately she got better. :P
Yeah, I saw it coming too but it was well done, I don't really remember much about 6 Feet Under because I didn't watch it regularly and it was a long time ago so maybe I should rewatch it now.
I don't doubt that, I just wanted to know the one that affected you the most out of all those you mentioned.
ahhh well, Jon Snow. and thats because it has been recent
Man it's totally worth it believe me, there's such a depth in that series that you can't even keep count of the overwhelming quantity of thematics masterfully developed into it.
Oh man that totally destroyed me. He was my favorite character and that season put him through the ringer. ;w;
Well it's not like he really died (luckily). Eddie's death at the end of the season was really sad though. CW seems to have a knack for ending the first season of their shows with really sad deaths (Supernatural: John Winchester, Arrow: Tommy Merlyn)
That scene always breaks my heart

Yeah I'm glad he didn't die since he is my second favorite character right after Joe. But still when I first saw it it hurt
I know this defeats the purpose but I still think this should be mentioned. I kind of think life was trying to show me something when Tony Montana died. I really felt something
Tony Montana was an asshole. Don't get me wrong, Scarface is a fun film, but I didn't feel the least bit sorry for him.
He was my favorite as well. Just when things looked like they were going well for him, for the first time on either Buffy or Angel, that final season pulled absolutely zero punches when it came to Wes.
Battlestar Galactica
hershel greene- The Walking Dead~ RIP a good fictional man.
ALEX MURPHY, NOoooooooo.

I like how many times they shoot him with a shotgun.
Gotta think about it but Nate Fisher Jr. is a pretty good one.
