What Gaming Consoles do you Want?
So I'm wondering, what gaming consoles do any of you want to or plan to get soon?
Lately, I've been turning my attention towards the Playstation brand, since the Xbox One feels like a shallow console and a step back from the 360 in a lot of ways. I'm looking at getting a PS4 when I get a job this year or next year, and I'm also interested in the PS Vita, which looks like an awesome experience for a handheld console. The Wii U is still on my mind, but I'm not really a Nintendo fan.
If anyone could give me feedback on the consoles I listed, that would be awesome. In the meantime, what consoles would you like to own?

I'm thinking of getting a PS4 solely for the reason I want to experience Last of Us for myself. But tbh I need to upgrade from my Xbox 360 soon so if an Xbox One is on sale or something than I'll definitely buy it. I'm tired of just watching playthroughs of next gen exclusives.
Last of Us will probably be a must-have for me if I get a PS4.
Xbox one which is awesome and has some sweet exclusives and is getting backwards compatibility . Also got a 360, but it can't play disc games anymore. Also got a ps vita which I love because it has awesome games like Danganronpa (Currently replaying the games before the spinoff comes out.) Sucks Sony has given up on the Vita, in America anyways.
Xbox One because I want Fallout 4 and The Master Chief Collection. Also, I love the Xbox controller.
You're aware that Halo MCC's servers are still shit, right?
im thinking im buying a PS4 this week.... sometime..
I have a PlayStation 4 and that's all I need.
I don't really care about the multiplayer. I just want to play the campaign.
It's not so much that Sony gave up on the Vita in America, it's just that most people outside Japan are not interested in another Sony handheld. And because it's not selling well, third party western companies don't feel compelled to develop games for it. Like I mentioned before, the Vita is pretty much for people who are into JRPGs (which as a genre has always been niche outside Japan with Final Fantasy, Poke'mon, and Kingdom Hearts being the exception), Visual Novels, and other niche and/or obscure Japanese games.
Have all three, though out of all of them I can say hands down that I prefer the PS4.
I actually want a Vita for the DanganRonpa games, and for Persona 4: Dancing all night...I am shame
I'm also keeping my eye on the Wii U hoping for a discount since Splatoon, Smash, and Bayonetta 2 look amazing.
Then you won't have any issues. Campaign got fixed ages ago.
Don't be. I, along with probably most Vita owners outside Japan got the Vita purely to play Persona 4 Golden. Hell, I got it because you could start a S. Link with Adachi.
I was looking at some of these consoles with Steam OS and computer usage but I'm not sure if it's worth it. The Nvidia Shield controller looks more cumbersome than the 360. Some specs on the Alienware Alpha seem subpar. Right now I'm eyeing that Forza 6 SE XboxOne preorder. I have a 360 and the transition would be easier. Then again, I have mostly digital copy of games and I doubt those will be able to play on the One.
You can play disk games by slapping the top of the 360 when you put the disk in. It takes a few tries, but it works. If it's installed, It won't crash after that.
Got a PS4 and a PS3.
Would like a 360 though if not for the sole reason I'd love to play some of the indie games on there and Saints Row.
Wii U, it has a lot of games I want to play, that's about it really, I have no idea what games the Xbox One and PS4 have that aren't on PC, plus it should be obvious but I kinda love Zelda so of course I want the Nintendo console.
I also really, really want Smash Bros. 4, like seriously I'm dying here, why don't I have money to buy a Wii U with Smash 4?!!!
Xbox one.
Well the PS4 has/is getting a few exclusive that aren't coming out on PC like Uncharted 4 (or pretty much any game that's going to be developed by Naughty Dog in the future), Bloodborne, Infamous, Until Dawn, Ratchet and Clank, a few JRPGs like Disgaea 5 Alliance of Vengeance, Omega Quintet, Persona 5, Hyper Dimension, a new Nier game, and many more. There are also games that are available or are coming to the PS4 and the One but aren't going to be available on PC.
I plan on getting the 1 TB model of the the PS4 some day. There's a lot of games I want for the system such as Arkham Knight, Ratchet and Clank, Naruto Storm 4, Dragon Ball Xenoverse, GTA V, Elder Scrolls Online and several others I don't remember right now.
The last console I bought was the PS2 so... Or was it Gamecube? Whichever came out later. Pikmin4lyf
Oh that's right, I actually knew about most of those and there's also Quantum Break for Xbox One that I definitely want to play... Just not on Xbox One, I mean it's a shooter, it'd play better with a mouse and due to Remedy's track record it's definitely possible that we might get a PC version, just like 3-4 years after initial release... DAMN!
If I'm really honest I just don't like Xbox One and the PS4, they have games I want to play, but I don't know the console itself is a turn-off, I don't know I'd probably hate the Wii U too if it wasn't because I love their games too much, plus Nintendo generally makes their games run at 60FPS and is super good at giving them art styles that look good despite of the console's limitations, I'd still would prefer it if I could play all games on the same platform, you know it'd be convenient.
Look it's just that PC gaming it's a curse, it makes you notice little things, plus I can't stand playing shooters with a controller anymore, it's so imprecise and all that auto aim makes me feel like I'm awful at it...
PS4
