lol I know FNAF is not a kids game. Scott worked on another game previous to this one. It was a kids game using animitronics, like the ones in FNAF, a side scrolling collecting resources kind of game. As you can imagine it was not well received, because it looked scary.
It may seem like a horror game for kids, but it has dark subjects going on in the story, like murdered children, a pierced corpse in springtrap, i find that very dark!!!

One thing that's been bothering me about this series is that Scott keeps taking these very original and interesting character designs for the animatronics and just... making them as edgier and edgier with every installment.
HURR I'LL ADD SPIKES AND RAZOR BLADES AND MAKE EVERYTHING BLACK AND RED WHEW HERE IT COMES LOOK ITS INTENSE
I feel like there should be better ways to set the tone than resorting to increasingly cliche character designs. Like, I get it, wow. You sure did give that robot bear a lot of sharp teeth. Great job.
Oh I realized it a long time ago. I'm just waiting for you to realize how absolutely pointless this conversation, and the agrument that transpired before it,is. Because this is some pointless shit.
Just got done playing it. Really good game. I was really scared while playing. Not just because of the jumpscares, but where the plot was set in. i mean some kids get scared of sleeping in their dark room because of monsters and that happens on this game. This game also FORCES YOU to play with your volume MAX because you have to listen for breathing at your door. And after getting scared by plushtrap, im not touching the game! XD
But is a good game. Scott did a good job on this one! The full game is on steam now, i already play it now, i got as far as night 2. :P

I think that it's interesting. Watched Mark play it, I was pretty into it. All the people criticizing the design of the animatronics... You're playing as a child, sleep deprived, locked in a room for a while, probably delirious. I think all people accidentally envisioned things they were afraid of when they were young.

So FNAF4 is confirmed to not have Windows XP support. I'm a sad panda. Literally.

The kid was generally scared of the animatronics, but he likes the pizzeria. I assume he had an eerie feeling which is why he cries around them.
