  • I would tell them not to be so fucking selfish and think about other people.

Yeah that helps a lot. If those people are not their parents or close relatives (= and would be upset) there are no reasons to think about them at all. Because it's like saying they shouldn't care about their own problems if someone somewhere has it worse.

  • We all deal through hardships in life, I lost both my parents, my wife, my brother, you don't see me killing myself. Fuck that. When everything came crashing down i joined the Army, i didn't want to be here anymore. Then when i came back, i felt indestructible. Nothing could touch me.

So what you're saying, is that you joined the army in order to get yourself killed. Then you didn't die, you came out of it much worse than you went into it because you have PTSD.

I can say that it's bad parenting if they cannot help their child.

It's not that people who kill themselves don't think about the people around them, it's that they feel that they shouldn't be alive anymore.

btw, that subtle advertising for joining the army was necessary at this conversation.

  • You can't blame someone for the choice of their fucking child. That's the most fucked up thing you've posted on this thread.

  • I don't know dude it seems like you really want people to kill themselves lol. C'mon man that's a valid argument.

  • And you're weak-minded.

    You're so tactless.

  • Pot, meet kettle.

Yet you say anyone so sad, grief stricken and suffering enough to commit suicide is a coward

  • I'm not promoting suicide.

Suicide is okay (in my book) when a person is dying from a fatal disease.

  • Atleast I have the capacity to know that what you're saying is bs.

Ok, then I agree with that statement. But please do consider the other side of the coin in these types of arguments. Imagine that a close one of a suicide victim was all devastated. What's your reaction gonna be? "Fuck you it was their decision (which it still is) why are you so sad about it?" Now that is just fucked up. Think about the other people that were connected with that victim.

You may not think that way, but after that comment it seems like you do.

  • I'm more like: " you should feel bad because you weren't there for them."

Of course that doesn't apply to everyone connected to the person who committed suicide. I base on what the people around him did that possibly caused him/her to end their life.

My little brother killed himself by running into a car late 2012.

  • But you can't say it's the person's decision and at the same time blame their family, that's contradictory. In a lot of suicide cases the family have no idea they were even suicidal because they hide their feelings, so it comes as a massive shock to them.

The truth is a fucked up place.

  • You pretty much admitted that your life was downhill so you joined the army, if you actually look at that, it's a way to commit suicide. It makes sense George, you just wanted to do it in a more honorable way.
