Yes, and because of this change I really wonder if we'll ever see a BTTF season 2 or if they'll just give the idea up, along with the few assets already developed. On the other hand because 2015 has a special echo in the BTTF movie, maybe there's still some hope...
season 2 was already planned (production was maybe even started) before TTG moved to their new timed decision engine. This led to project st… moreop / reschedule, with rumours of possible 2015 release.
Up until they started using a new iteration of the engine with Game of Thrones and Tales from the Borderlands, all Telltale games have used the same engine; they just switched the gameplay style that they use to design their games.
Back to the Future was one of Telltale's earlier attempts to focus on cinematic presentation over puzzle solving; however, instead of using choice, they just lowered the puzzle difficulty to a more accessible level for newer players. Since that was the case, I could easily see them making a new BttF game with choice making.

I would have loved Telltale to release that 5 season bundle on PlayStation store too. I would've bought it. Too late now. Pretty much bought everything manually.

What if they made a Star Wars game? You play as a bounty hunter at the time of A New Hope. And they could make you choose to join the Rebellion or the Empire.

Yep. Telltale doesn't go through traditional publishers anymore (they haven't since they stopped making CSI games for Ubisoft in 2010), so they almost certainly won't go through EA to make this game (especially since they now have a deal going with Lionsgate for projects, and it's not likely they'll want to get a third wheel involved). So, we probably won't see a Star Wars game from Telltale for a long time (if ever). The Star Wars license was just thrown out as a dream license in an interview, without regards to whether it would actually be possible to make.
There's been quite a few dream licenses thrown out in interviews over the years, and as far as I know, Telltale has not yet been able to secure any of them, so it's definitely best to take these types of comments in interviews for what they are, just the dreams of Telltale staff.
Am I the only one that thinks a Death Note TellTale game should be made? Based on the popular manga/anime :0 it would be really good and I think it would fit in with the style of gameplay. And I don't think main character should be Light or L. Should be someone completely new maybe you play as the person trying to catch the owner of the Death Note or maybe the owner them self! ^-^
I just don't see how you can make anything interesting with that world at this point. The two most interesting characters you could ever conceive of for that type of story are dead.
Actually I'd play any game as L, now that I think about it.

Hopefully something fun, i don't know what they were thinking with Minecraft, i have a feeling it will flop hard, but we will see. Maybe fanbois can keep it afloat.
I would like to see TTG make a survival horror game story game.

Same feeling here. I have really really deep doubts about the interest of what they can come up with regarding this Minecraft thing. Even worse since I saw the teaser. I keep a little bit of faith aside just in case and hope it will not be a financial disaster (maybe the investment $$ is not Telltale's but the Minecraft company). What troubles me is thinking that the team involved could be doing TWAU 2 or TWD 3 or a Monkey Island new season or... whatever, instead. That's a source of permanent despair...

Basically it's a TV show and a game. The first one will be an original IP with a mysterious unknown partner and your choices in the game will somehow affect things in the TV show. However both of them are separate, you don't have to play the game to watch the show and you don't have to watch the show to play the game.
The lore of FNAF is interesting enough to make a game out of it. Not sure it could be spun into 10 hrs+, but if TT ever takes on a horror type game.....

I think telltale would make a great True Detective game. They already have an existing relationship and contract with HBO. That would would be a perfect property for them to cover
Hey guys! If you want to speculate Telltale's future plans and announcements, that's fine. However, if you are just suggesting games that would be cool for Telltale to make, please use the "Generic Telltale Should Make" thread. Thanks!
As Blind Sniper said, this thread is for discussing what games have been confirmed, hinted at, or what games have been stated as games they'd like to do by Telltale staff.
If you have a game that you wish that Telltale would do, but no one at Telltale ever said that they wanted to do it, please post that suggestion in this thread.

Good point, let's keep fingers crossed !
Maybe a hunger games story? There's plenty of stuff to do in that universe.
I would like to see TellTale pull off a Sin City game.
I think it would be perfect for them! The unique art style, the characters, the violence... I want this to be a real thing!!

EA has like complete control of Star Wars in video games for 10 years, so highly unlikely.
Well, not necessarily a bad thing, if, for example, Bioware is going to develop a new (hopefully, singleplayer) RPG.

Yeah, but with "Knights of" front.
New Old Republic game?
I realy want a sam and max bundle on ps4/xbox one
Star Wars is a perfect unverse for TTG ^^ and a lot of fan.
I really want a new damn game of them someday tbh but patience is a virtue.

They're working on betraying adventure gamers that gave them life in the first place.
old school rant

What I'd give to see another true adventure game from Telltale...
By the way, nice to see you, DAISHI.
Updated to Ep6 of Game of Thrones

I feel like something like that would work perfectly for one of their Super Shows

I registered an account to upvote this, I think the only game format that could really work for The Dark Tower is a Telltale Game.
Can someone please explain to me what exactly this Super Show is?

Hey Zeruis
I think they've basically retired the traditional adventure game. King's Quest is a pretty good modern take if you're looking for one.
The lore of FNAF is interesting enough to make a game out of it. Not sure it could be spun into 10 hrs+, but if TT ever takes on a horror type game.....
Don't really see the point, personally.
Guess we'll find out.
Not trying to be a butthole but how many times have i seen this comment?
"horror"
Ok... horror was a little strong to describe FNAF.
