I don't think it's so much of an Easter Egg as much as it is Telltale reusing a model (and some animations) from Walking Dead: Season 2. Lots of Telltale's games reuse minor animations and updated models from previous games.
Most inventory items that don't get used randomly disappear from your inventory but I've had that key since EP1 and I still have it, so I'm almost certain it'll come up at some point.

So, maybe that line is a clue to how navigating by the stars can help one find the Grove?

I'm guessing it's for Margaerys strongbox. I just hope that nobody(Cersei) ask us to open it. I really want Margaery on my side. Since she is the queen now, she might be able to help us.

Well, that explains things. For a moment I thought he was going back to deal with Andros, and tried to use my (Mira's) gullibility to get rid of the Forrester contract. No way I burn it aftet that!
The only reason for burning the thing I can think of is that it confirms your dealings with Tyrion, which may be bad given the plot.
