  • Got two cats and we've had them for, damn, around 16 years by this point. Both were pretty young when my sister gave them to me (Best birthday ever) and they're getting on in years but still hanging in there.

  • Mine lasted for 15 ~ 16 hours I think.

You're a better fish owner than me, at least. Mine only managed to stay alive for a week.

I've had so many pets in my life.

    • The first one I can recall is Choubi (his name came from Chewie in Star Wars), a big ginger cat with long fur. He was not my first pet since my parents had another cat when I was a baby, but I don't remember obviously.
    • Next, there was Lilas and Plume, two females cats. Lilas was white with ginger spots; Plume had grey fur and big amber eyes.
    • Then, my dad saved a little puppy in the streets. A bunch of drunk A-holes were having fun kicking her around so he gave them money to make them stop and took her home. She looked like a cute sausage. Unfortunately, after a quite long life, we found her dead in the garden. She had impaled herself on a fence, probably while trying to jump over it.
    • A friend once gave us a white kitty. He grew up to be a really beautiful white cat. So beautiful, in fact, that someone catnapped him.
    • After that, we adopted another stray cat: Etoile. She got poisened once but luckily she survived.
    • Then, we bought a male Labrador. He's now eleven.
    • We also adopted Dimitri and Natacha. Two siblings cats.
    • Followed a female Labrador, who's nine.
    • And finally, for the best christmas I ever had, I got my male (but castrated) Birman. He's now seven and he is adorable :3

Out of all the cats we had, most of them just never came back home one day. We don't know if they got ran over, catnapped or just lost themselves but that's how it is... Dimitri and Etoile were placed in good hands when we moved across the ocean, seeing as we couldn't take everyone with us. The only pets remaining with us now are the two Labradors and the Birman. Over the years, we also had birds (got eaten by one of our cats), rabbits and fishes (placed when we moved). Sometimes, my house felt like a zoo ^^

  • Mine has been alive for the past 5 years.

  • Holy shit. What kind of fish do you have?

  • That is insane. Your room must be littered with animals.

Yes. We usually buy 2 sacks of dog food whenever we can, sometimes we feed them rice with chicken liver.

  • I have a 3 year old Black Labrador Pitbull Mix.

  • I have 2 dogs and a tortoise

  • Not really, we keep 6 dogs in the house while the others are in cages outside--It helps drive them burglars away.

  • Are the cages big enough for them? It sounds kind of crowdy.

  • Yep.

They tend to jump around or lie on their backs when they can.

  • Just a regular goldfish. It even survived jumping out of the bowl once. My Mom found it on the floor in the kitchen after waking up. Apparently it was motionless, but when she put it back in the bowl he just strafed swimming around.

A stray cat I found 4 years ago near my flat. Female, we call her "little beast" or Fizzy. She can be the most adorable cat you've ever seen but sometimes she can be the devil's daughter. (^・ω・^ ) :D

  • I'm only going to talk about the ones I currently have:

    • A Siamese, Sassy. She has asthma, which I didn't even know cats could have until we got Sassy. She kneads with all four paws. She's also a very finicky eater, and she knows what "are you hungry?" means. She runs straight to her bowl and meows.
    • A black cat of some sort, Koda. I named him after the small bear in Brother Bear. He gets irritated at me if I'm playing a game/watching YouTube and not paying attention to him. He went missing last October and I was afraid someone took him to do bad things to him (same month as Halloween, you know), but it turns out he was probably accidentally locked in our neighbor's garage the whole time. He came from the same litter as Sassy, but he was the firstborn and she was the runt. Their mother was this tortoiseshell cat that we called Angel (she always liked rolling around in dirt -.-)
    • Pearl, a brown/multicolor striped cat. She comes to you if you whistle, and we took her in when she was a little stray. She was this angry little ball of hate when she first got here, and you couldn't pet her or anything. Now she'll let you pet her until she decides you can't. She likes my mom's spaghetti, and takes clawfuls of it off our plates.
    • Monkey is a cat that has similar markings to Tard (Tardar Sauce/Grumpy Cat) but she doesn't frown. We actually named her Munchkin, but we call her Monkey/Munchie. You can't eat ramen noodles around her, because she'll snatch it off the fork and eat it. She will slap broccoli away from her though. She is kind of pear shaped, as her head is small but she's kind of pudgy.
  • My 2 doggies:

And one of my kitties when he was a baby:

I have and had more kitties but I didn't feel like posting all of them...

  • I currently have two dogs and two stray cats. The "stray" cats use to be a pet cat till my mom kick them out. So now they are outsiders. As for my dogs it was a gift from my neighbors.
