  • Fallout 2 is easily the best and meatiest game of the series. One of the best written video games ever and it perfectly captures the post-apocalyptic world with awesome characters and black comedy.

Not a fan of Bethesda's "version" of the series.

  • I personally loved Fallout 3, but I'll concede that it had serious lore problems, to the point of almost seeming non- canon. Hopefully they learn from New Vegas, but given the presence of BoS and Mutants in Boston, I'm not holding my breath.

Come on, Bethesda, you can't just copy/paste the Brotherhood wherever you go.

  • I'll answer from the top to the bottom.

Fallout 3... It just has that charm. Loved it.

It depends, but I tried to play the good guy most of the time, but it really depends on the situation.

Male (I would name him Radiation, then try to make him yellow.)

Dogmeat. He doesn't talk back, and he's a man's best friend!

Favorite DLC for Fallout 3: The Alien one, can't remember the name.

Favorite Companion for Fallout: New Vegas: Rex the Cyberdog.

First run ending for New Vegas: The Mr. House ending.

  • Answers:

Fave Fallout Game: Fallout 3. The atmosphere in that game was just.... woah.

Good, Evil, or Neutral: NEUTRAL MASTER RACE MOTHERFUCKERS!

    Male or Female: Both.

Fave F3 companion: Butch. TUNNEL SNAKES RULE!

    Fave F3 DLC: Point Lookout

Fave NV companion: Cass. Personality wise, she's basically a male version of me.

Fave NV DLC: Old World Blues.

What NV ending?: Haven't finished it.

  • Time for dem answors:

Game: Fallout New Vegas, with Fallout 2 coming in a close second. <3 the Mojave.

Alignment: Eh, I picked Good in the poll but I usually tend to have characters who aren't simply "Good." I prefer playing anti-heroes. I'm not a good guy myself, but I fight for them.

Male or Female: Female for 3 whenever I play it (So rarely) and Male for New Vegas.

F3 Companion: Meh, not a fan of F3. It's not awful but I just don't like it.

    F3 DLC: See above.

NV Companion: My guy Boone. He hates the Legion, I hate the Legion, it was a match made in Heaven.

NV DLC: Dead Money. Love the story, enough to look past the difficult start. "Let Go, Begin Again."

NV Ending: NCR Forever, baby. Don't tread on the Bear.

  • Game: Fallout: New Vegas (haven't played the original two).

Alignment: Depends on the situation, really. Picked "Evil" for this one.

Gender: Male for NV and Female for F3

F3 Companion: I played it solo (picked Jericho, though).

    NV Companion: Raul.

NV DLC: Lonesome Road (with Dead Money a close second).

NV Ending: Caesar's Legion. In hoc signe taurus vinces.

  • Ave, true to Caesar.

    NV Ending: Caesar's Legion

  • Game : New Vegas

Alignment : I usually end up Neutral in Fallout 3 and probably would in Vegas if the karma system wasn't broken.

    Gender : Usually male

F3 Companion : Charon (dat Shotgun)

    F3 DLC : Point Lookout

    FNV Companion : Veronica

FNV DLC : Gun Runner's Arsenal. Seriously, it adds so much replay value to the game. In the poll I voted Old World Blue.

    Fallout 3 Weapon: Rock-It Launcher

    New Vegas Weapon : All-American (I'm a sucker for a nice AR-15)

Ending : Independent (Magnificent Backstabbing Bastard)

  • Fav Game : New Vegas

Alignment : Neutral BECAUSE I GIVE NO FUCKS

    Gender : Male

Fallout 3 Companion : Fawkes he's one badass mofo

Fallout 3 DLC : The Pitt

New Vegas Companion : Boone until I had to kill him because I didn't side with NCR :P

New Vegas DLC : Honest Hearts. The bandaged man is so badass!

Fallout 3 Weapon: Tesla Cannon that shit was OP as fuck

New Vegas Weapon : A light in the shining darkness

Ending: Independent/Free Vegas because House was a shady mofo, Caesers legion were psychos, and the NCR was spread too thin.

  • Ending: Independent/Free Vegas because House was a shady mofo, Caesers legion were psychos, and the NCR was spread too thin

Yeah, NCR always reminded me of Vietnam-era America. Good intentions, but no idea of the powder keg they're getting into. If you look around the mojave, discontent with the NCR is everywhere.

  • Game: fallout3. Fallout new Vegas is fine but a bit wacky for me

  • Not to mention that Caesar's Legion has shades of Victor Charlie in the way they harass NCR with quick and brutal guerilla strikes. Though I have to admit that the resemblance to Vietnam-era America is one of the things that draws me to them. It's probably not the best for everyone in the Mojave but I just can't pass that up. I've always found that era interesting.

  • Yeah, I can see that. CL alway reminded me a lot of the Taliban, with the hatred of vice (quite the opposite of the actual Roman), chems, gambling and women in general. In addition to their propensity for skirmishing, as you mentioned. They also have a major driving force behind them, in the form of Caesar and Mullah Omar, respectively. And are likely to crumble once those leaders are gone.

  • I am totally excited for Fallout 4. Since they have recorded a 1000 popular names for the main character, it is possible that the name "David" is popular enough?

  • Yep, I'm wondering if Max or Maxwell will be choosable.
