So I just noticed
the weirdest thing happening today when replaying Curse of Monkey Island. I don't know if this happened in other folks games or what cuz I've never seen this before.

What I think is odd is that this game wasn't made by TellTale so why would that character be referenced in this game? Maybe its cuz my version isn't 100% solid. I did get it off a friend on the internet so maybe it was tampered with. Either way, this is still pretty weird to me. I truly have never seen this before.
EDIT: alright nevermind i'm dumb. ahha

Noob! Just kidding
Steve Purcell (much) later, worked with Telltale Games to create the first season of Sam & Max (or 'Sam & Max Save the World' if you like). I strongly suggest an education of 'Hit the Road', 'Day of the Tentacle' and 'Fate of Atlantis' for you sir
p.s
don't pirate a pirate game >.<
Sam & Max appear in all sorts of places!
Indeed, infact I saw them on the town last night, Max was making a right fool of himself... too many tequila slammers methinks.
Well, I think I saw Max in Star Wars: Republic Hero's but to be fair it may just have been a trigger happy clone trooper.
Seriously, speaking of Lucasarts FPS's... how about Max's cameo in Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight? Absolute. Classic.

That player sucks... if you leave Max to his own devises (by NOT attacking him) then he'll go on a bloody rampage
when he's going crazy playing the banjo, instead of shooting him, go back to the barber shop, and vuala
But yeah. There are a lot of Sam and Max easter eggs in the LucasArts classics. I remember seeing Max (and sometimes Sam too) in Last Crusade, Monkey Island 1, 2 & 3, Day of the Tentacle and Full Throttle.
I really hope that Telltale gives us a slightly better reference though. I did spot the reference straight away but why didn't they make the corals truly look like Max's ears?! Come on Telltale, hang a portrait of Max in a future episode (maybe in the courtroom, with a judge's wig on).
Granted, Telltale holds the license to do Sam&Max games but MI' license is not owned
by Telltale (so in fact Steve Purcell needs to give permission to Telltale for using S&M in MI)
Anyway, if all the legalese is worked out, then Max should appear as a "Most Wanted" poster inside the courtroom
