He is adding some new characters in there, The reason he's doing this is because he realizes the Animatronics aren't scary anymore, So he's experimenting with a few new Genres. But I swear to god, If he goes anywhere near the Shooter genre, I will leave the fandom and destroy his hard drive.
This guy needs new characters. What he is doing is basically using FNAF to sell a RPG game. Not being rude or anything but he should try to experiment.

I wouldn't say I hate it, TF2, Battlefield 3, Halo 2 and Resident Evil: ORC are some of my favorite games, But... If you think the FNAF fandom is bad, Try sitting in a lobby with a bunch of Shooter game fans when trying to play with friends. It's... Horrifying. Not to mention, Scott has already had a lot of experience in RPG games before he started FNAF, So that's why I'm so excited, Because his RPG games were just... Sooooo goood. Scott doing an RPG is awesome, Scott doing a Shooter with no experience and attracting the bad side of the fandom is not so much.

Do you hate shooter?

To answer your question, No. But I hate it's fanbase, and I trust very few companies with shooter game focus.
Halo 2's great. I like shooters from the old arcade such as Sunset Riders. Pure art.
Fanbase generally sucks in games. FNAF, Minecraft, COD for instance.
