Remember the intro

enter link description here

The intro that establishes the grittiness and mystery of the setting. The intro that makes you a badass. The intro that we will get feels and memory of.

The intro that started it all.

The intro that makes you the Big Bad Wolf.

  • Fun fact, Nick Herman said wolf was going to have slightly different intros and songs.

  • Guess that idea was fulfilled by Tales from the Borderlands instead. I don't mind. Having each episode start with the intro makes it seems more...fitting and consistent. Like in a Tv-show. The Wolf Among Us doesn't really have rooms for different intro for each new episodes. It doesn't really fit.

But it is just my personal opinion, Maybe it could have worked. :)

  • Damn I miss these.

These always got me so hyped for the rest of the episode to come.

I loved them a lot but at least we'll totally see them again in the season 2 they're making but not telling us... right?

  • Oh man, I love that intro so much. Hope S2 intro will be as good as that one ;)

  • Am I the only one who actually hopes that they're going to keep this intro for Season 2? (assuming it's going to come out one day)

  • Maybe one day it will come out. But not any days soon.

By the way, Sherlock Homles is a Fable... it makes me think how would Bigby vs Moriarity go

  • I remember how hyped I used to be. No other game set it up like TWAU did. In all other TT games, intros are meh or even a nuissance. Well, TftB intros are nice to look upon, but they don't get you as excited as TWAU.

The music is insanely fitting, and the colour palette is extremely pleasing to the eye, especially if you're playing without lights in your room (highly recommended). And then... then the magic happens, when you dive in the world of Fables in the body of the Big Bad Wolf, our beloved Sheriff of Fabletown. Ahhhh, such good memories.

10/10 intro, would be intro-ed again.

  • It feels so good to play Bigby. There is something very satisfying playing a character as powerful as Bigby. :)

I don't know about that, I think the intros get you excited for two different things. The TFTB intros get you excited for an over the top action comedy while the TWAU intros get you pumped to solve a noir mystery. Personally I prefer the TFTB intros, but that's just my personal taste.

  • Of course, TftB intros aren't bad by any means. All I was trying to say that for me, personally, it's more like watching a video - you get excited for the characters and their adventures yet to come. In TWAU, I get immersed as a character myself. :)

I actually never played TWAU in daytime, playing it at night without any lights and with a cup of good coffee (or something "stronger") is entirely different and more immersive experience than playing it in daytime (presumably), especially if there is a lot of noise outside the window and other things possibly distracting from the story itself. It's like "Be a part of Fabletown yourself" kind of experience to me

  • TWAU is like an euphemism to night. All the best stuff happens at night or evening.

  • I miss this so much. They should keep the music but change the intro up. Miss this game so much!
