It's October!
Or rather, to be more precise, the middle of October. Anyone here share Halloween as a favorite holiday? Anything you've done so far that equates to "Halloween-y", i.e: play horror games, watch horror movies, etc, etc? What are your plans for Halloween? Are you getting dressed, spending time with friends or just staying at home with a bag of candy? Any recommendations for people to get more into spirit?

Christmas is my favorite holiday but Halloween would be in 2nd or 3rd place.
I love October because my birthday is on the 28th and Halloween is my favourite holiday. I also just love the autumn-y feeling of October in general. It gives me a reason to break out the jumpers and curl up on the couch with some hot chocolate and video games.
Since I'm turning 18 this year, I get to go to an adult Halloween party for the first time. There's a boat that goes along the river in my city, where the party will be. It's a pretty big boat. I'll probably dress up too, but I don't know what I'll be yet. Something scary but not too cliche.
Probably just start watching some horror movies. The Texas Chainsaw Massacre always gets me in the mood for Halloween.

Halloween hasn't been my favorite holiday ever since I got too old for trick or treating, but I do like to get into the spirit of things by watching shitty horror movies with some friends and being lazy as hell with my costumes (i.e putting on vampire teeth and claiming I'm Count Dracula).

Halloween is my favorite holiday. But sadly I don't have any friends so I'll probably just watch The Thing and play Resident Evil.
Honestly, almost all year long I'm depressed, sad and sometimes suicidal. I hate everything, and I just don't feel okay. Even on Christmas. But something about the Halloween spirit, playing all of the Silent Hill games back to back, and Watching the worlds goriest horror movies so I can laugh at how stupid the cast is, and cringe at their bloody demise, really brings out the best in me, Makes me happy, makes me smile. It's awesome. Cheers to October, the best god damned month of the year.
Really? Every year I do a marathon of all the Friday the 13th movies to get me in the spirit.. The second one is my favorite. I don't think I've seen Texas Chainsaw yet, is it any good?

Cool. I'll check it out, I love cheesy horror movies after all.
I like October because the temperature finally starts going to a nice level. I don't really care about Halloween, but I do enjoy just taking rides on roads through the mountains and looking at the changing leaves. The bug populations also start to wane so hiking is a lot more enjoyable. Fall is definitely my second favorite season, behind winter.
