This is just a personal thing but telltales are the best at telling stories (tales from the borderland being my fav) it would be epic if you guys did a Telltale story on The Last of us one of the best story driven games but a Telltale version would be epic
I really think Telltale's kind of games would make an amazing Doctor Who game. Preferably with some Matt Smith in it, possibly over several incarnations! Possibilities are infinite.
Really that'd be a good Doctor Who game for once.
Oh hell yeah.. I've been wanting to see The Fugitive thing seen done by Telltale a long time too. Doesn't even necesarilly have to be the exact story of Harrison Ford's movie. Just a character that was framed for a very serious crime and him escaping to prove his innocence will do. I think Telltale could do great with that.
Another thing I'd like is a Deadpool game. It's basically Telltale's bread and butter. Crazy character, insane humor, over the top violence.
A few other ideas are games based on tv shows like The 100 or Lost (which probably will never happen since the show has obviously been finished years ago).
Honestly, I would love to see you guys make a video game series out of the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I love the story of the films, &… moreamp; I love the characters, my two favorites being Jack Sparrow and Barbosa.
Not to mention Keira Knightley's Elizabeth Swann - for obvious reasons, lol!
Given the nature of the movies, as well as the characters in them, I believe that it would be a marvelous idea, and also a highly profitable business venture.
Also, I would like to see you do a videogame series based on Harrison Ford's 1993 film, The Fugitive.
It's a Classic film, with an exciting storyline and with some memorable characters, like Harrison Ford's: Dr. Richard Kimble, a man falsly convicted killing his wife, and who while being pursued by the authorites, is himself pursuing the one-armed man responsible for his wife's murder.
And Tommy-Lee Jones': U.S. Marshal Sam Gerard - An unrelenting, stoic, bloodhound of a man, who is determined to capture Kimble.
Totally. Possibilities are literally infinite. I know everybody would like a Matt Smith or David Tennant, heck I'd like to see the adventures of Eccleston, but maybe some of the less celebrated doctors could be considered? The 5th maybe? The 6th? How about the War Doctor? Anyways, I'd love to see it! There's soooo many things they could do with the Doctor Who franchise!

To me, that just wouldn't work, sadly. At least, not with the GTA tie-in! The thing about it is, if they were to come out with Telltale's Grand Theft Auto, it would take away what makes the series so successful! The open world! Without the open world mechanics and the idea of doing whatever you want to do, it'd just be a simple, linear story. Going back to another question though, why doesn't Telltale just create their own original story? And they could use the same ideas as you suggested! I'm sure that'd be another great addition to the Telltale games as well!
Telltale should focus on creating games for Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, X-Files, and Star Wars. I would love it if telltale did a game base on any of the franchise I mention.
I think this thread was a bad idea, all ideas just end up getting lost, ignored and eventually forgotten, it doesn't allow anything to stand… more out and its kind of sad how little activity is generated here - do you think anyone at Telltale actually gives this thread special attention?
Borderlands relies on it's loot mechanic a lot more than open world. Like the whole theme is that it has thousands of different guns to shoot all the unlucky people who cross your path with.
Also borderlands isn't open world at all. It's all made of areas which are sometimes big and sometimes just made for boss battles. It's pretty heavily instanced and you'll find yourself travelling between areas a lot.
GTAs main selling point is on how much freedom it gives you and without the open world and all of those activities and stuff its bland.
Well I'd totally jump for it! Just gotta choose the right one x3 Although nowadays the new series is probably the best known (I myself have a very limited knowledge of the original) so to ensure financial success the most recent doctors will probably HAVE to be included. (Hence me mentioning Eleven, because he's my favourite one).
So, with the infinity of infinities of possibilities, there might be a way to join old and new to make something awesome.
But such attempts can also very easily slip to a dark failure, so they'll have to be careful. But I believe in Telltale to make something great!
Possibilities are infinite

I suggest a pornhub crossover? My ideas being it will bring a new audience to telltale, it could boost revenue for telltale (possibly) since… more people pay subscriptions for porn anyway and this would definitely interest a whole lot of people, the choices could actually matter you could get a girl pregnant or you could not these choices could be great and there could be consequences like STI's, I call it "Busty Adventures", So any questions? Pornhub didn't make it to space but they can make it to Telltale
If telltale were to make a whole new project, what would you want the project to be about? Me personally, I'd like to have a vampire themed series. Where perhaps players play as a young tennager, boy or girl. Perferably a boy. I want a series that reflects on the natural powers a vampire has and a series that reflects the nature of vampires on a whole new level. Things such as feeding on humans, using their powers, etc. It would be so cool to finally play as a vampire and live out a story as a newborn kindred. I'd also like werewolves and witches to be in the game, which would also be so cool! What would you guys like to see telltale create?
1) Addams Family - make it a black and white game, full of dark humour, plus throw in Christina Ricci voicing Wednesday and this would be TellTale Gold!
2) Invader Zim - give us loud, colourful, insane sci-fi of doom for us filthy humans
3) Venture Bros - Brock's been in TT's poker game, Patrick Warburton lends his voice to Tales of Borderlands. I can't believe this one hasn't been done yet!
The Elder Scrolls. Specifically, the War of the First Council. It's got politics, personal drama, and a canon ambiguous outcome. The Telltale treatment practically writes itself.
I'd love to see a Scooby-Doo comedy adventure with gameplay being a mix of Sam & Max and Tales from the Borderlands with maybe some kind of connecting plot with supernatural origins and lots of comedy with a laugh track option during cutscenes and tons of references to past incarnations that's my number one choice. Other Franchises i'd like to see get the Telltale treatment:
* Ben 10
* Codename Kids Next Door
* Futurama
* Red vs Blue
* Something Cartoon Network/Nickelodeon related
* Deadpool Adventures

3. dead space
4. storys that takes place during history moments like ww1, ww2, medieval era (pick any history moment it don't have to just be the ones I picked)and make it like band of brothers( Try and keep them all alive through out the story)
5. Based off the saga comics
6. Based off the chew comics
7. based off the east of west comics
8. starcraft
9. starship troopers
10. horror type games

After watching the film with Keanu Reeves I realised that this is a very cool universe for Telltale. The fact that almost no one likes him and that he comes off uncaring I think he would be a fun character to play. Alongside that is all the demon hunting, pseudo Christian lore to combat all those nasties. From holy water from the river Jordan to reciting scripture to agonise a demons eardrums there is lots of cool things to be done. And there is the CHAIR, a way to leave your body to see what you would never be able to otherwise. There is also the balance between God and the Devil that they are restricted to the influence their respective "half-breeds" can dish out, this would make for some interesting plot lines.
All in all, cool world,cool character,cool stuff to do. The only risk is it may be to close to the Wolf among us in theme, but I am sure Telltale weeks find a way. Either way, I would still like to play it.
I actually had a few ideas about some possible Telltale games in the future so I'll put them here hoping something happens.
A Dead Space Telltale game would be cool to see. You have a group of survivors during the outbreak and you fall in love with the characters and make choices watching people around your decisions and combat style..
A Star Wars Telltale game would be amazing. I had 2 ideas for this one. You are a padawan growing up through the academy when faced with multiple chances to choose the dark side or light side through out the game and the game carries over most of your character's life. Episode 1-2 The academy while the later ones could focus on your campaign your choices have given you and party that forms over time. Like an old KOTOR game. The other idea was you play as 2 different padawans. One Sith and One Jedi. In the end you have fight and have to choose which one dies and continues the game or ends the game.
If I have any other ideas ill post them. What do you guys think?
Edit: A Jurassic Park themed game would be pretty cool too, especially with the Jurassic hype atm because of Jurassic World. I'd personally rather the Dead Space or especially the Star Wars one, but this is still an interesting thought.
Edit 2: What about a Fallout telltale game? Start in the vault and end somewhere in the wasteland with your party members going through some major problem. Like how in Fallout 3 you have Project Purity. Maybe a different project or something along those lines. These people should hire me in their "idea department" haha.

After playing Tales, a Star Wars game would be perfect as Telltale have proven themselves that they can pull off that idea of a group of characters who don't entirely belong together but end becoming a "family" at the very end because of what they've all been through very well. Seriously, I was getting a lot of OT Star Wars vibes from Tales.

What if TellTale made a game based on Image comics, Saga series, they have handled TWD pretty well at least in season one.

Thread: biotales from rapture
i was wonderig if bioshock would be good for telltale the game had many fans and if a story driven game about the fall of rapture may be quite fun
I have seen this exact thread a bit too many times in my short one year of being here.
A bioshock game does sound interesting and I bet telltale could pull it off. Who knows, they might even announce it next year. (Wishful thinking)
The purpose of the thread is to discuss games you'd like to see happen and that's been accomplished, the thread is not a bad idea.

Futurama game.
Oooor like someone else suggested, a mob-game sounds fun.
lol wtf!!
i am kinda ashamed that i know the name of those of stars named in here... well not too much. kappa
I want a Five Nights At Freddy's made by Telltale since Scott had done the story of this franchise. Please don't judge me.
