    My name is on the list confirmed not to work. My brother's is on neither. The worst part is that on the confirmed list, there's one name that is basically my name without one of the letters. And Atticus works, but no NICK?!?!?!? What?!?!?

    You didn't hear about it? When you level up, you pick from a chart with over 70 perks, when you level up you can put a point into one of these perks or level up a special. The perks have ranks to them that give better and better skills.

    Also, there is no level cap if you didn't hear about that.

    Yeah, I remember hearing there were no skills, but at the time I heard it, it was still rumor and hearsay. It's kinda disappointing, but it could work out for the best. Who knows.

    I like the absence of level cap though. I really hope this game doesn't have the save size issues like New Vegas or PS3 Skyrim had.

    To anyone thinking of using a vpn to access it early, I was considering the risk versus the reward and I found this thread. http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2939616 The last comment in the thread, on page 2, states that unlocking games early with a vpn is in violation of the SSA. So while you might not get caught, they still don't want you doing it. I personally think I'll just wait the extra time and not take the risk.

    I've pre-installed the game on my Xbox and taken a couple days of vacation time. I'm so goddamn ready!

    Same, have it preloaded on my PS4 and have the next two days off. Once I get off work today I'll go grab some dinner and then it's sit and stare at the countdown time... this is gonna be awesome.

    Thanks, I was wondering when reviews would start popping up.

    From what I've seen the consensus is pretty much what I expected. People who love Bethesda games will love it. People who don't probably won't.

    These days, games tend to spoon feed the story to gamers. That's not necessarily a bad thing, when games like The Witcher 3 can present games with great pre-made characters and emotional attachment.

    Meanwhile, Bethesda games focus more on freedom and letting you craft your own story. I personally enjoy it when games leave a lot of their stories up to my imagination, but It might leave some people feeling overwhelmed and rudderless.

    I know what you mean about Bethesda allowing you to craft your own story. Their worlds tend to tell their own story, like when you are exploring a burned out shell of a building and you see a skeleton in the bath rub with a toaster, or empty syringes. Little things like that go a long way with immersion I think.

    If i run into a situation where you have no perks available other than the stat perks, that do not have level requirements.

    I am getting 3 STR for Armor Crafting
    5 Perception for Explosives Handling
    1 E whatever
    C 6 Settlement Perk
    8 Robotic expert
    3 Sneak
    2 Scrounge

    I may take one point out of luck and put it somewhere else, never know. I'm not really in love with that.
