Personally I just feel bored. I tried to play FO NV, I really wanted to like it, but I just couldn't get attached with any of it. From what I understand this game will have a somewhat linear story surrounded by what has comprised the majority of the other FO games, so I'm going to give it a try. From what I've seen the consensus is pretty much what I expected. People wh… moreo love Bethesda games will love it. People who don't probably won't.
These days, games tend to spoon feed the story to gamers. That's not necessarily a bad thing, when games like The Witcher 3 can present games with great pre-made characters and emotional attachment.
Meanwhile, Bethesda games focus more on freedom and letting you craft your own story. I personally enjoy it when games leave a lot of their stories up to my imagination, but It might leave some people feeling overwhelmed and rudderless.

Combat is refined and fun and the locations are interesting. Power armor is a lot different this time around, and makes you feel like a lumbering, invincible tank.
The story and such has been a bit slow so far, but I've been having so much fun exploring that I barely noticed.
I do like their games, but I am just being slightly more cautious than I usually am.

I recently found some combat fatigues and a helmet, so I've been wearing that + whatever leather bits of leather I can scrounge. With the addition of my automatic pipe rifle, it's a pretty good looking get up. If Goodwill thrift shops started fielding armies, my character would feel right at home.
I just can't seem to figure out which piece do what. For instance I had a full outfit that was removed when I put on a left arm leather item, but then when I had that left arm armor piece on I could equip a totally different outfit without removing the arm piece.
It's tough to figure out.

If you like Bethesda sandbox games, definitely.
Otherwise you might want to wait, watch some let's plays, etc.
