To have people on the inside of the populations on top, for experimentation and such. For instance in the bio lab there is a terminal that talks about using some of the modified organics from The Institute and seeing how it works on top, then destroying everything to cover it up. Seems a bit drastic but, hey, that's The Institute.

Has anyone here thought that perhaps a game set in another part of the world that is not the U.S. could be done? I am thinking perhaps in China or even the USSR, so that we can see things from the "other" point of view.

I have reached the highest relationship with Mccready and told him that I am his best friend but beacuse of some kind of glitch the dialog with the option to romance him kept appearing every time i tried to talk to him so the only option for me to make it dissapear is agreeing to become his boyfriend.
That's why I gave up building relationships in fallout.
The other side of the Cold War (i.e. Communist nations) would be an interesting topic. Think about it, Fallout does not only revolve around 1950's americana, but also the General attitude of the time. You have the communist nations (In this example, China specifically of course), constantly touting the superiority of a united worldwide socialist-communist people and the evils of capitalism. And in the US, had the opposite; American exceptionalism and a constant fear and villification of the "Socialist Barbarians". To explore the other side of the conflict would be an interesting theme. Probably just wishful thinking on my part, but an idea nonetheless.
JUST WHAT IN THE FUCK IS IN THE MUSEUM OF WITCH CRAFT???!! sorry, but that has to be one of the most frighting places ive ever gone in.i entered adn started sneaking and then something dropped a fucking body on top of me! i ran the fuck outta there and fast traveled to sanctuary!

I won Strong's heart by eating every corpse I found and banishing him to an empty settlement when not in use. Otherwise he bitches whenever you put on power armor.
Damn it! Apparently I maxed out how many settlers I can have at Sanctuary. Now I have to figure out somewhere to put other settlers. Gonna need to gain the perk that let's you fast travel while overweight if I want to build a new settlement. Anyone got a particularly settlement they recommend?

Covenant is a good one, though you have to do the quest and clear out the residents first.
It already has houses, beds, a modest farm, st… moreurdy wall and emplacements for turrets.
The Castle is another interesting one.
And Sunshine Tidings Co-Op, cause Professor Goodfeels is there, maaan.
Once I've built up Sanctuary to the best of my ability, I'll probably be going to the Moonbeam Outdoor Cinema, since it's a nice flat area to build on.
Also, is there a solution for the crater at the cinema? I keep getting radiation poisoning whenever I get close.

Is anyone else here too big of a pussy to choose any of the mean dialogue options? I looked at the mean dialogue options early in Fallout 3 and just went, "Nope. Nope nope nope."

I've been a bit of a sweat tbh, loving fallout 4. As I have on the others.
Got Piper romance, Railroad ending, level 72, 4 days+, already done all side quests, so many unique weapons, 3 racks full of magazines, all bobbleheads, X-01 Mark5 Jet pack power armour, I have the rare freefall combat armour legs (fall from any height and survive.) I'VE DONE SO MUCH AND I'M STILL FINDING THINGS I LOVE FALLOUT
Recently started a new character, level 11 female so I can get the other voice actor!
Ah, yes! From Mothership Zeta! That was never explicitly explained. The pattern in it looks too circular to actually be the work of a nuclear arsenal. Also, one cannot really tell where it is for that matter, in that the atmosphere is so polluted with fallout that you cannot discern any specific landforms. Aditionally, comparing the size of this spot to China is very disproportionate both in size and shape. Nuclear waste dumping ground maybe? A century dominated by atomic-fusion powered machines needs somewhere for all of that spent fuel. Or perhaps the sun reflecting off the fallout particles in the atmosphere?
That's what I've noticed most about Fallout 4 compared to Fallout 3. F4 is way more about gun play, and supplies are plentiful. I've got over 40 stimpacks stored, whereas in Fallout 3 I've got about 20.
Is this so? Well, I guess I shall be cranking up the difficulty a bit when I get Fallout 4 myself. I do not like it when it becomes too easy.
In Fallout 3 I've got about 20.
I just stockpiled my super mutant blood samples and turned them in for a vault-load (pun intended) of caps and blew a fraction of it on stimpacks. As it stands now, I have 105 of them.

So, I was wondering, I finished the game but never sided with the Institute so Im a little confused.
Why were they taking people and replacing them? like what was the purpose.

So they did kill the kidnapped people?

I remember a developer once said they'd never make a Fallout game outside the U.S, because so much of fallout's theme revolves around 50's Americana.
USSR might be a bit too Metro/Stalker-like tbh.
Who did you guys romance? I would've romanced Piper if my PC could run Fallout 4 ;(
Fallout 4 is just sitting there in my Steam library mocking me
I assume so, but I don't really know.

Also went with Piper.

Hm, fair point. China would still be a viable option though.

I think I read that it is meant to be the town of Salem, where the Witch trials of 1692 took place, hence the scary atmosphere.
oh yeah that whole area was creepy, but i meant the museum. damn that was scary. it was a deathclaw. but i killed it
Anybody know quick ways to max out Strong and Curie's affinity?
I'm not gonna spoil it. Grab your best equipment, turn out the lights and enjoy.

Just found Covenant. Why is the Fonz there? XD
And the Vaults probably wouldn't be part of it, since Vault-Tec is an American company.

Scrap all the barrels in the crater and it should get rid of the radiation.
Do you realize that China got nuked so hard that all that's left is just a big glowing hole on the planet?
My tumblr give me a follow! pls Also add me on xbox: JordaaNPopee

And I made this gif:
Butch! What are you doing in Minecraft?! Was the Capital Wasteland too much you?
Evidently, no. Although, can you provide me with some verification on this, and by extension how extensively you mean in saying this?

Well, the Capital Wasteland isn't exactly the most vibrant place...
Or the safest for that matter.
