That's fine by me. I'm not a reviewer, I just enjoyed all of those games equally. I can't choose which one I'd pick over another, that's impossible. But I owe it to these games. They're my drug. My luck. My fame. My fortune.
A shame that most everyone in this thread only has games that came after Walking Dead S1.

A lot of people thought so after it was tested and proved.
Right, yes, they did? But that really doesn't make any sort of point, whatsoever. Certainly not one that backs up anything you've said.
My point being appealing to popularity (like you did) doesn't make you right.
Well, no, not necessarily, you're right. But in this particular instance? I'm afraid it does. I'm not right because people agree me with -- people agree with me because I'm right. Slight difference, but one you're clearly missing here. You don't like Game of Thrones? Well, you'll fit in well around here. You think Borderlands is the best thing ever? Well, you'll fit in even better.
But fact is, Game of Thrones is a good game. Regardless of whether you personally enjoy it or not. The Hunger Games does nothing for me -- however, do I wonder how anyone likes it? Do I discredit the series? No, I don't. I just stick to what I like, and let it be. The fact you couldn't do the same, is why we're having this back-and-forth.
You don't like Game of Thrones? Well, you'll fit in well around here
It's pretty clear with your appeal to popularity that i don't. Also I wrote my first post because i was surprised to see received pretty well here, because most of what i've seen has been pretty negative. Personally i thought it was pretty average (4 - 5/10).
The fact you couldn't do the same, is why we're having this back-and-forth
No the reason we are having this back and forth is because you wrote a condescending reply (which was funny tbf) to my original post because i didn't think it was good and you had to discredit my opinion. So i just tried to send it back as snidely as i could which was pretty fun . You'll notice other people responded in a manner that wasn't condescending and those conversations ended pretty quickly.

Dont go trusting what people say about GoT in the forum section, everyone just bitches about how "choices dont matter" despite the major branching in episode 6

You're right sadly. People have gone into this weird 'fact' phase. Its like you're told all your life that a certain movie is bad and no matter how good it is when you see it you imagine its bad since you can't accept you were wrong about something that was so clear to you before.
They've gone to the point in which they'll hate it even when their critism makes no logical sense. It kinda makes me feel bad for them tbh.

Wrong. I clearly said me being right had nothing to do with that. I guess I'll have to repeat myself: "I'm not right because people agree me with -- people agree with me because I'm right."
because you wrote a condescending reply
Well, you're the one who felt the need to question how anyone could like Game of Thrones, as if that was a necessary thing to say. You were also the one who added:
haha if you say so. It says more about your 'taste' tbh
Which is why I brought up the how likes things. It obviously doesn't say more just about my taste, if so many other people agree with me. A point you've twisted to have a whole other meaning.
Also I am pretty curious as to why you liked it?
Well, so many reasons. I loved playing as the different members of House Forrester; they were a varied and awesome compilation of characters who, in my opinion, are Telltale's best. I love interacting with storylines and characters from the show. And despite what everyone else says -- decisions matter in Game of Thrones more than any other Telltale Game. I'd love to hear a Borderlands decision as big as the choice between Asher and Rodrik, or the choice of the Sentinel. Because far as I see it, the only true, big decision in Borderlands -- to rule Hyperion or not -- gets retconned and dismissed five minutes in anyway. But, of course, since it's Borderlands, it gets a free pass on everything. No one can critique almighty Borderlands, that can do no wrong. But Game of Thrones however? All people seem to do is dismiss it.. all for reasons I don't understand. And I don't think they do either. They just blather: "HER DURH GAME OF THRONS SUCKZ. DECISIONS DON'T MATTER. BORDERLANDS IS TEH BESTEZ TELLTALE GAME EVAR."
And yet all I hear is a sheep bleating. (Side note: many of them haven't even played GoT, and they do it anyway)
Decisions don't matter? Yes they do, more than any other Telltale Game, and I defy anyone to prove otherwise. The writing is poor? Purely subjective. I hate how people keep trying to pass it off as irrefutable fact. I think, again, it's easily Telltale's best. Think of the writing behind the Gryff-Rodrik Standing-Up Sequence in Episode 3, or when Rodrik imprisons him in Episode 4, or the scene where Mira first meets Cersei, and so forth...

I clearly state: "I'm not right because people agree me with -- people agree with me because I'm right."
And arguing that would be a stupid thing anyway--because by that logic, I'd be agreeing that Borderlands is the best Telltale Game (which I don't think it is), since that's the most popular opinion on here.
Already said that the original post was because i was surprised. Maybe i could have said another way.
I'm not right because people agree me with -- people agree with me because I'm right
You realise i can make the exact same point, like i said before i haven't seen a really positive reception to the game. Also i don't think you're right i think GoT was pretty average
You were also the one who added:

It obviously doesn't say more just about my taste, if so many other people agree with me. A point you've twisted to have a whole other meaning.
I think A is right, other people think A is right therefore how can A be wrong. How is that not an argument from popularity
Also i never said that the decisions have to matter it's not that big of a deal but it is nice when they do. While it was cool to switch around from PoV to PoV i felt Borderlands did it better by focusing on two main characters and it made it feel as if the choices had more weight. Also those two big decisions you mentioned end in exactly the same way and one them you will only see the effects in season 2 and the other had a dumb effect. Also yeah Borderlands doesn't get a free pass i thought episode 5 of Borderlands was weaker than episode 4 and they played the 'sacrifice myself' only to magically revive the character too many times . Also i didn't like GoT because i thought the overall writing was weaker than previous games, i didn't think it looked great i think i would have preferred their normal art style and technical issues with the game (which they improved in the later episodes).

Poker night at the inventory(i think it was called that)
i haven't played JP or Tales of Borderlands so i am not counting them here, but as i understand it TOB is really good and JP is the absolute worst that Telltale has ever made, but yeah was easier to do the series as they do have good and bad seasons, like TWD s1 is definatly the best that telltale has made, with Sam and Max s03 right behind it, but Season 2 of TWD was not as good but still good, Sam and Max s01 and s02 had its moments but both were building up the core parts of what most telltalegames consists of now and then JP was the testing ground for the QuickTime events and TWD the game that mastered that.
Monkey Island was just enjoyable and had many memorable moments. Wolf among us was also enjoyable.
Bone was the first telltale game and had problems with mechanisms, but was fun at times
Both GoT and BTTF were ok, but were lacking something, BTTF was a fun world to visit and i might have to replay it but it was missing that punch and humour that Sam and Max and Monkey Island had, and GoT was missing something that i just can't put my finger on that TWD mastered so well.
There were other games like Puzzle Agent and stuff but i can't remember them all, i have loved and supported Telltale from the start and will of course in the future continue to do that.
There are so many contradictions I don't even know where to begin. I certainly don't have the patience to list them all. But here goes:
Already said that the original post was because i was surprised.
Wrong again. This was your original post:
Wait people actually thought game of thrones was good ? also 1)Borderlands 2)Walking Dead S1 3)Walking Dead S2 4)Game of Thrones
Nowhere in that did you mention anything to do with surprise.
You realise i can make the exact same point, like i said before i haven't seen a really positive reception to the game. Also i don't think you're right
No, you can't. Eight people agreed with me that Game of Thrones was a good series, while only one person agreed with you that it wasn't. So how you can come to the conclusion you can make the same argument as me?
i think GoT was pretty average
Fair enough. But a lot of people think it wasn't. Trying to imply it's due to bad taste, or that the very thought surprises you was unnecessary. And something I've seen so, so many times. This time I decided to call it out.
Also those two big decisions you mentioned end in exactly the same way and one them you will only see the effects in season 2 and the other had a dumb effect.
Saving either Rodrik or Asher results in completely different scenes -- all of which have very, very different feels to them. Does it radically change the ending? Other than the fact Asher can get Gwyn in the end, and Rodrik can't. No. But it certainly makes a bigger impact than anything in Borderlands ever did. Call it a dumb effect all you like, but that's a fact. As for the Royland / Duncan choice, it means for the entire series, you have a different character as your second-in-command; giving different opinions, and once again, a different overall feel. Dismiss it all you like, but yet again, it still overdoes anything in Borderlands. Once again, that's a fact. I'm not saying Game of Thrones is better -- but I am saying it has more impactful choices, despite the sheep loving to bleat otherwise.
. Also i didn't like GoT because i thought the overall writing was weaker than previous games, i didn't think it looked great i think i would have preferred their normal art style and technical issues with the game
Once more, that is fine. Fair enough. But a lot of people don't feel the same. Such as me. I think the writing is, 99% of the time, excellent. I also thought it looked excellent. And I never had any technical issues, like at all (I play on PC) so... Yeah, it just irritates me people try to pass off -- "lulz game of thrones sukz, borderladns is betstz everyone knows it haahahah" as if it's established fact. Fully agreed by everyone. But there's no point dragging this on forever, so I'm saying this one last thing, then moving on:

Welcome
I noticed a lack of Tales From the Borderlands on your list, why is that?
I see you're living up to your nickname.
I LOVE Telltale, but I just can't give every series a 10/10 it just doesn't feel right.
A shame that most everyone in this thread only has games that came after Walking Dead S1.
That's fine by me. I'm not a reviewer, I just enjoyed all of those games equally. I can't choose which one I'd pick over another, that's impossible. But I owe it to these games. They're my drug. My luck. My fame. My fortune.
Where is Tales from the Borderlands in your list
Haven't played it yet. That's all...
It'll come...
You NEED to.
I never said it was a bad thing i'm just surprised
haha if you say so. It says more about your 'taste' tbh
The amount of likes on my comments and yours speak for themselves, mate.
Sorry, I just needed a reason to use that hint mark.
Well, he gave TWD S2 3.5/10, I'm not surprised TBH.
Okay, TWD S2 may be a weak series but a 3.5/10 is ridiculous IMO.
TWDS1 - 9,5/10
TWDS2 - 8/10
TWAU - 9/10
GoT - 8/10
TftBL - 10/10
1) the walking dead 2) the walking dead season 2 3)the wolf among us 4)game of thrones 5)tales from borderlands 6)Jurassic park the game 7)back to the future 8)minecraft story mode 9)sam and max 10) (all other)
My comments extends to those people too. Also a lot of people used to think that the earth was flat, however that doesn't make it flat mate
Yes, but a lot more people thought it wasn't. And they were right.
Agreed, and the fact that this opinion isn't even that uncommon is even more ridiculous, it's so incredibly underrated.
A lot of people thought so after it was tested and proved. My point being appealing to popularity (like you did) doesn't make you right.
Right, yes, they did? But that really doesn't make any sort of point, whatsoever. Certainly not one that backs up anything you've said.
