Childhood TV Shows?

Hey guys, I've been getting into watching older TV Shows(mostly Cartoons lol) and was wondering if you have any suggestions? I'm definitely checking out DuckTales, Darkwing Duck and Goof Troop, perhaps Gargoyles too. What were your favorite TV Shows from your childhood? Any that you would recommend? I'm not enjoying today's shows as much as I'd like to except for Gravity Falls and Steven Universe in terms of animated shows.

I used to watch "Make Way for Noddy". Loved that show. When I was about five, my gran asked me what I wanted for Christmas.

Me: I want a Noddy toy!

    Gran: A WHAT?

    Me: A Noddy toy.

Gran: (my mom's name), you need to hear this.

    She thought I said "Naughty".

Also, I reccomend Gravity Falls and SpongeBob. And Doctor Who. That's all I really watch, other than Law and Order: SVU.
Edit: It's been so long since I've watched this, I had to look up the title. I apologize, it was "Make Way for Noddy", the American version of the show. I found the intro to the other one and noticed it was different than what I remember. Different show, same characters, and the intro to the British one is fucking creepy.

  • Spongebob Squarepants(the first 3 seasons), Spiderman and Batman(90s cartoon), Dexter's Laboratory, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy, Fairly OddParents, and Ed Edd n Eddy.

  • Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Scooby-Doo, and SpongeBob were my shows. I loved them so much. Back when Cartoons were awesome. Now you're lucky to find one good show. I also loved That 70s Show as a kid lol. Actually watching it on netflix again.

  • My favourite childhood shows were mostly on Cartoon Network ^_^

    • Dexter's Laboratory.
    • Ed, Edd, n Eddy.
    • Kids next Door.
    • Courage the Cowardly Dog.

Then there were shows I loved in general.

    • Scooby Doo.
    • Drake and Josh.
    • Others that I can't think of right now. :p
  • Hell yeah! I loved Yu-Gi-Oh too. I kind of got a late start to it, but I thought it was awesome nonetheless. GX was my favorite actually

Fullmetal alchemist. The best shounen anime/manga ever. Berserk. Hopefully it will get a full anime one day, i will reach a special kind of happiness if that happens. But Berserk is not for kids, if that´s what you where after.

  • I'm just looking for any old shows in general, live action, animated or cartoon :p so thanks for the suggestions, I've actually seen some of Fullmetal Alchemist.

    • Ren & Stimpy (kinda adult themed)
    • Daria

    -Scooby-Doo

    -Ben 10

    -Almost anything involving superheroes

-Generator Rex (Well actually, I was in middle school when that show came out, but I really loved it back then though.)

    -The Secret Saturdays

    -SpongeBob

  • I've revisited all of these as an adult and they're still great.

    • Star Trek. I watched all but Enterprise as a kid (it didn't exist yet). They're all great, but TNG is my fave.
    • Pinky and the Brain/Animaniacs
    • Spiderman
    • Reboot
    • Loony Tunes
    • Flintstones

Those are the only good ones I can think of off the top of my head. Sadly, I also revisited the following shows, and they were not as good as I remembered:

    • Donkey Kong Country
    • Pokemon
