Recommended 'Telltale Games' titles?
Hi!
I am new to the Telltale Games and I have just finished with the first episode of the Minecraft Story Mode. As I am interested and currently liking the story telling genre, I'd like to take recommendations on what exactly is the best or two of the best games that telltale Games has created.
Thank you!

I'd try Tales from The Borderlands first, then go to TWD. If you want more after that go for GoT then Wolf.
Also there are the older games (Sam and Max, Jurassic Park, Tales of Monkey Island, etc.), but I haven't tried them so I can't really recommend them.
Well, welcome to Telltale!
I think I have a 3 way tie for my favorite between...
Depends on what kind of things do you like. Serious, mature (17+) choice-based action - basically every modern Telltale game except Story Mode. Comedy? Tales From The Borderlands. Noir mystery? The Wolf Among Us. Zombies? The Walking Dead?
Well Minecraft is Telltale's most friendly choice based game, so making a jump to Telltale's other games might feel alot different, but they go like this:
The Walking Dead (Season 1 and 2) Like all of the other Telltale choice games, its alot more mature. It tells the story of Lee Everett who gets a second chance in the zombie apocalypse and cares for a young girl named Clementine. Walking Dead is full of hard choices and is a tear jerker. If you want to feel a real experience, play Walking Dead.
Tales from the Borderlands: Still mature, but it really feels like its just above a T rating. In Tales from the Borderlands you play as Rhys and Fiona, who find themselves together on a crazy adventure. Tales is definitely focused on comedy so if you want a good laugh, play Tales.
Game of Thrones: Mature. Keep in mind though, Telltale's game of thrones has plenty of spoilers for the show, and because of this, if you dont watch the show, parts can get confusing. In GoT you play as house Forrester family members, who try to make their house survive. Its full of hard choices and drama.
The Wolf Among Us: Maybe Telltale's most mature and adult game, although it focuses on fairy tails. You play as Sheriff Bigby Wolf, who discovers a murder and must go solve it, but finds it is connected to much more. If you want a great mystery, noir story, then Wolf Among Us is for you.
Depends on what you're interested in, Telltale has made games for pretty much anyone, it depends on what you're looking for.
If what you're interested in is something more kid or family friendly, I would probably recommend Telltale's Sam and Max series. There are three games in that series, Save the World, Beyond Time and Space, and The Devil's Playhouse. Unlike Minecraft however, there are no choices and it focuses more on puzzle solving. As I have yet to play it, I can't say I recommend it, but if puzzle solving is more your thing, than it's worth checking out.
Then you have The Walking Dead, which is definitely Telltale's most well known series. There are currently two complete seasons out of for that game and a third in development. Starting with Season 1, it marked a sort of transition for Telltale, as they started moving away from puzzles and adding choices to their games. While Season 1 does contain some puzzles, they are relatively easy and quick (except for one in particular), and pretty much anything they've made after that contains very little to no puzzles. I definitely recommend this series, both seasons are great games with amazing stories, the only thing is that it is rated M, much like Telltale's most recent games, the exception of which is Minecraft of course.
We also have Tales From the Borderlands, my personal favorite Telltale game, so I can't recommend this enough. While also rated M, unlike The Walking Dead, which is a drama, Tales is a comedy and, like Minecraft, does contain a much lighter tone to some of Telltale's other games. Again, not much puzzles, and if there are, they are very easy, but the story and choices more than makes up for it. Please, get this game, I cannot stress this enough, it's one of the best games of 2015.
Other good games are The Wolf Among Us and Game of Thrones, both of which are rated M. The Wolf Among Us is a mystery drama, where you play as Bigby, otherwise known as the Big Bad Wolf, who is the sheriff of Fabletown, where many other fairy tale creatures live. Don't let that fool you though, if you're thinking that because it has fairy tales in it that it's kid friendly, you're wrong. Game of Thrones is pretty similar to The Walking Dead in terms of overall tone. There is currently one complete season and a second in development.
If you wants Comedy; Tales From the Borderlands
If you wants feels; The Walking Dead Season 1 and 2
If you want dark and detective noire; The Wolf Among Us
If you want dark and medieval setting; Game of Thrones
Thank you for all the comments and suggestions.
I have decided that after completing the Minecraft: Story Mode, I will be playing Tales from the Borderlands, then most likely heading onto The Walking Dead (As I haven't had the feels from a game in a while).
I'll then go onto exploring other games made by Telltale Games if I really enjoy the others.
Again, thank you very much, the comments have really helped!
My personal favorite is The Walking Dead. Back to the Future is a close second. But whatever you do, do not play Jurassic Park. It is several hours of your life that you will not get back. (Okay, that might be a little harsh, but it's bad nonetheless. It's the only Telltale game I've ever played that I genuinely disliked.)
I think others before me made it clear enough already,so I'm gonna advice you something:
If you're a Steam user,go buy the whole TTG collection,it's currently on sale and costs 47$,it includes every game Telltale has released from Bone to Tales From The Borderlands.A pretty good bargain if you ask me,I want you then to experience them in order of release to fully understand the evolution of TTG in the industry.
Good choice, you will not be disappointed with Tales, that I can promise. And just so you know, it's currently on Steam for only $8.49. Oh, and just a heads up, remember to promise, give the flower, and Step Three, you'll know what it means when you get to it.
If you don't mind puzzles then I'd recommend the Sam & Max series and Tales Of Monkey Island.
Also Tales from the Borderlands like almost everyone else has said.
It's all comedy until you hit episode 4...
If you're going for the Walking Dead just know it's an emotionally deep experience. The world of TWD isn't the same as Minecraft's, it's harsh, unforgiving and brutally and beautifully raw but it's for those reasons I'd still highly recommend it, it's by far the most emotionally charged video game I've ever played.
