Damn, that's like asking a mother which child she likes best.
I started with eleven, continued with twelve. Went back to nine and ten. Then back to one through eight.
Oh wow, you went retro way back to the originals! I'm not that dedicated. . . yet. I would have said 10 was my favorite, but I'm like 1/2 way through S5 and 11 is growing on me more and more (I love how adorably confused he is, plus his companion is so complimentary placed it's perfect, they are like positive and negative magnets).

If I really HAD TO choose, I'd choose Pertwee.
I really hope you haven't skipped nine. And yes, you may not like some of them at first, but they do tend to grow on you.
And if you ever go back to see the classic ones, don't judge eight by just one movie. His audio episodes are considered better than a lot of new TV episodes. Also, I could give you a couple of pointers to which classical ones to watch, since it would take ages to watch through them all.
(Yes, I've even listened to audios and read a few books)
I almost forgot. If you haven't already, watch the minisodes too. They're usually prequels to episodes, but some are standalone stories. Sure, you won't miss much by not seeing them, but it's more enjoyable if you do. My favorites are First Night and Last Night, which were referenced a few times in the newest episode. Here's where you can watch them: enter link description here

Lee Everett: ''That little girl's in my care! We've been through more together than you can imagine. Anyone who tries to get between me and her is gonna wind up dead! You hear me?!''
Bigby Wolf: ''I go out there and I do my job. I put my life on the line, I get shot at! I do what has to be done, for them! But at the end of the day I'm still the bad guy.''
Nathan Drake: ''Oh, crap!''
John Marston: ''People don't forget. Nothing gets forgiven.''
Saitama from One Punch Man. He has all the quaities for a good hero. He's strong enough to take out any threat, he's nice, he's humble. And he doesn't do the hero thing for fame, so it doesn't get to his head.
Even though ME3 was complete crap, and I will never play another ME or EAware game ever again, I still revere Shepard as one of the greatest gaming heroes out there.
I think the guns in ME3 were pretty good.
My favorite was Mantis Sniper Rifle.
And as far as the story, the part that I thought sucked was that to see what the consequences on the galaxy would be due to your actions, you had to download it.

Geralt of Rivia. From both the saga and the games.
“People like to invent monsters and monstrosities. Then they seem less monstrous themselves. When they get blind-drunk, cheat, steal, beat their wives, starve an old woman, when they kill a trapped fox with an axe or riddle the last existing unicorn with arrows, they like to think that the Bane entering cottages at daybreak is more monstrous than they are. They feel better then. They find it easier to live.”
“Evil is evil. Lesser, greater, middling, it makes no difference. Proportions are negotiated, boundaries blurred. I’m not a pious hermit. I haven't done only good in my life. But if I’m to choose between one evil and another, then I prefer not to choose at all.”
Liked the Courier as he had the most wittiest dialogue in the series, however I felt more attached to the Wanderer due to seeing most of his life and his transition from the vault to the wasteland. We didn't really know much about the Courier pre opening cutscene
If we're talking protagonist-hero, James Sunderland is mine. Such an inspiration, a deep emotional character felt real, that felt like a human being with the same problems as us, he felt human. And he was fuck awesome and brave too. Plus, I love a man with a blonde bowl cut.
If we're talking Hero-hero, I'd say Sam Fisher. He's stopped World War 3 6 times, has become an undetectable badass, has infiltrated some of the most secure locations on the planet, and he's a general nice and funny dude. A true american hero in all honesty. Also, I ship Samsdottir, what else can I say?
Asher Forrester from Game of Thrones (Rodrik as a close second)
Asher is so great. He's a good guy but also, volatile, unpredictable and dangerous. Another thing I love about him is that he dropped everything, risked his life for a family that exiled him to the other side of the world.

What about the Courier?
This is definitely true. I have no rebuttal.
Indiana Jones!

I remember hearing about that. Guess it's no surprise, considering this is EA we're talking about.
Sure, you've got your heroes. But MY hero is the greatest hero of all times. It's Axe Cop.

Darn, someone beat me to it! But yes, Nick's my top pick also.
We all know mine.

if you're good at stealth, which i'm not.
Eh, all it takes is some practice, some focus, and being combat ready. Anyone can do it.
