  • Thanks! My mom had wrist surgery on the 23rd, so I made do. Turned out much better than expected!

That sounds delish! And I think it is awesome that you cooked it yourself

On Christmas Eve morning we had waffles with strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, whipped cream, and maple syrup, as well as toast and scrambled eggs with cheese and orange juice.

For Christmas dinner, we had lasagna, which has been a family tradition since I was a kid. Coincidentally, my sister's boyfriend's mom also always made lasagna for their Christmas dinner (which is a really strange coincidence as lasagna isn't a traditional Christmas dinner and neither of our families are of Italian heritage).

  • Potato Salad.

  • Schnitzel with Potatoes.

  • Mmmh, that Christmas Eve breakfast sounded amazing and it doesn't matter that lasagna isn't a traditional dinner for Christmas, food is food and you'd spent time with your family.
