Oldboy (2004)
Any others who likes this modern classic? It´s one of my biggest favourites, I´ve seen it 4 or maybe 5 times and that´s nothing I use to do.
For people who hasn´t seen it, here´s the plot:
"After being kidnapped and imprisoned for 15 years, Oh Dae-Su is released, only to find that he must find his captor in 5 days."
When I saw it the first time which was 6 or maybe 7 years ago I don´t think I´ve heard about it before so I didn´t really knew what I was going into but what a ride! Great acting (especially by Choi-Min Sik who plays Oh-Dae Su), incredible soundtrack etc., I just love it.
It doesn´t really get worse since it has probably the best fight scene in film history aswell.
I was thinking, to make this topic more interesting maybe we should discuss parts that will include spoilers so I´m turning on that warning now. To end this message I´ll say, if you haven´t seen this one, do yourself a favor and do so.

Oh, I sure liked it. Didn't expect much due to all the TV series or whatcha call 'em that they release, but this movie was really good. It's been quite a while since I've seen it.
Aha, what series are you reffering to? Was it your first asian film aswell?
It's pretty good.
Ohh dude. I didn't think anyone else knew about Oldboy. This has to be one of my favorite films of all time man. OF ALL TIME. Definitely goes in my top 3.
That ending dude, that ending.
And yes, that is one of the best fight scenes ever directed. Realistic, gritty, and all in one take.
Sure it is one hell of ride. I don´t rank movies but it´s a big favourite of mine, after the first watch I was blown away.
I think I actually have to say that fight scene is the best one ever in film history! Mostly because it´s done in one take as you said.
Anyone else who´s seen it? If not, do so, you won´t see something cooler in your life.
