Maybe the best movie of all times imo., what do you others think? I´d say with no doubt that this one is my Kubrick favourite and I got really jealous when I met someone born in like 1956 or maybe 57 who said that he had the chance to see it in cinema when it was realesed in 1971. Must have been something very extra, it sure is unique, one good example is the scene where the gang gets into a fight with Billy Boy and his droogs.

I´m not a fan of violence but the film also has a extremely powerful message on that violence is wrong, which is quite hard to miss unless you don´t watch the entire film.

    It's a good movie, but I wouldn't call it the greatest film ever. I wouldn't even call it the best Kubrick movie. Not trying to shit on anyone, just giving my opinion.

    You know, it´s not illegal to not like a special film at all. ;) Would be interesting to hear however why you doesn´t regard it as a masterpiece. I also wonder which Kubrick film that´s your favourite?

    Have you seen Full Metal Jacket? It's another one of my favorite movies of all time. Admittedly the second half wasn't as great the first half, but it was still very engaging with the sniper scene.

    See the thing for me was that I read the book first and had too high of expectations. It was still a good movie, but it didn't come close to the books brilliance (IMO).

    This may be an unpopular opinion, but I think Eyes Wide Shut is Kubrick's best film.

    Why should it be unpopular? It´s not illegal in any way. I have never seen 2001 - A space odyssey and I´m not really interested neither.
