What´s the point in not being able to use a random avatar?

    Do you mean having the forum pick an avatar randomly for you, or do you mean using a custom avatar?

    I wrote wrong, what I´m focusing on is an avatar you have chosen all by yourself or created.

    You can, you just need to use Gravatar.

    You can also link your steam account to your telltale games account. This will give you access to your steam profile picture for use as your Telltale games avatar. Not exactly what you were looking for but a cool little feature none the less.
