Hi there i was wondering if anybody could help me? I just joined the boards today. How do i post pictures/gifs? And how do i post quotes from other users if that makes sense? Say during a discussion i wish to copy and paste a paragraph someone has said but want to highlight it in my reply for them to see?

    For the pictures and gifs, get the links of them and use Image button. For quotes, copy them, use Quote button and paste what you copied.

    For this message board, you can't directly upload images from your computer - you have to find a link to an image online, copy it's URL, and then link to it here on the forums with the "Image" button. However, if you need to, you can upload images online for free very quickly (without having to make an account) at imgur.com

    You can also have YouTube videos displayed by copying a YouTube video URL, and then pasting it in the "Link" menu.

    And how do i post quotes from other users if that makes sense? Say during a discussion i wish to copy and paste a paragraph someone has said but want to highlight it in my reply for them to see?

    When posting, you should see a "Quote" function. To quote specific text, copy paste the paragraph. Then, for each paragraph you are quoting, put the ">" character in front of it.

    Also, just as a general note, pressing enter only once won't make a new line. Instead, you have to press enter twice for a new line to appear.

    In addition to what Blind has said, if you want to tag someone use the @ symbol and their name. For example, do @InGen_Nate_Kenny to tag me, it will be in red text, link to my profile, and will appear in my feed. Some people like Blind can't be tagged because of the space or dash or slash, example: @Blind Sniper.

    That does give a working link to their profile, but they do not get notifications for it. However, if you guys want to PM me to look at something in a thread since tagging me doesn't work, that is entirely fine and welcomed.

    you can use the image button to upload but you need links
