Thoughts on Oscar nominations
Yo everyone. What did you think about the Oscar nods? I thought they sucked pretty bad. Snubs include:
Johnny Depp for Black Mass,
Ryan Coogler for Creed,
Ridley Scott for Martian,
Steven Spielberg for Bridge of Spies,
Michael B Jordan for Creed,
Peanuts Movie,
Not to mention the evidence that Academy is full of bias:
John Williams for Star Wars TFA(Honestly? The music was shit, it was boring and forgettable.)
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!!!!

TFA music was fine. It wasn't terribly original though. The only bits I remember were from the old movies.
Its nice to see Mad Max get so many nominations. I'm not convinced it should get Best Picture, but I sure as hell want George Miller to get Best Director. Also best production design and special effects.
Too bad they always snub animated films for best picture. Inside Out was definitely my favorite movie this year. Its a lock for best animated at least.
The Oscars are a joke, don't let it get to you.
Really? TFA music was incredible! Not memorable, but they were catchy, fun and blended into the scenes nicely while subtly emotionally Affecting us.
I agree, TFA's music was nothing compared to the original or prequel trilogy, only Rey's theme stood out for me (which was great I admit). But yeah...nothing really stood out or was memorable.
If there's one thing I have learned in life, it's to never take award shows seriously.
All that matters is that Innaritu wins for directing. Or maybe George Miller.
I kinda went overboard with my statement. Music didn't feel like it was there.
I don't like the Oscar's award system. I think everyone deserves an award. Everyone works hard in acting and making movies.
Why bother having an award show if everyone wins? Also, what's the incentive to do better if Sharknado is going to get the same awards as Saving Private Ryan?
They all don't have to win the same award. I mean there could be a bigger variety of awards given out. So all the nominees are truly appreciated too. That way, it's more like a big celebration show instead of a contest.
This is as bad as participation ribbons.
I dont even watch the Oscars anymore.... to much of a joke
Sorry Johnny. Jada Pinkett Smith for Black Mass.
