Which Character do you think needs more character development?

Mira for me needed more Character development. Who do you think lacked Character development and needed more?

  • If we talk about playable characters, I think they did a pretty good job.
In terms of other characters, I would have loved for Ludd to be more humanized, so that he felt more 3d, but that basically goes with the entire Whitehill family, especially Gryff.
And of course Ryon, we don't really know a lot about his personality, but that will most likely be touched upon in the second season.

  • Even thought I love both of them, Gared and Mira definitely deserved more development.

  • Maester Ortengryn. After episode 1 he got neglected so much that I almost forgot he existed. And then in the final episode he just dies off screen.

He really should have been the traitor, even if obvious. Wouldn't be surprised if that was the original plan.

  • Ortengryn (just pointless), Talia and Ryon, but hopefully we'll see more of those two in the next season.

  • Yeah, would certainly make more sense than what we got.

  • Although I am one of the few who loved the traitor scene (Duncan version). I also wished that Ortengryn was the traitor.

  • Malcolm and Ortengryn. I love Malcolm but he didn't really develop. I also like Ortengryn but he was just plain underused.

  • I would want Elissa to be the traitor, few would expect that. In episode 1 Ludd seems to have some respect for her, and it would fit the Game of Thrones theme if Rodrik discovered who the traitor was by finding his mother in bed with Ludd (instead of Talia finding Rodrik in bed with Elaena). It would be an interesting plot twist to find that Elissa's blond children (Asher, Talia and Ryon) where Ludd's.

  • I'm gonna list the 3 chars who needs more development for s2

    1. Gared
    2. Malcolm
    3. Your choice.
  • I personally think that Gared got a great deal of character development. At the beginning of the story, Gared was a simple squire for Lord Forrester. In the beginning, his fighting skills aren't great, but he has potential. By the end of Season 1, he has develop into an experienced and hardened warrior who has fought wrights, wildlings and other dangers and become the leader of the North Grove.

  • Well, that would be impossible since Talia and Ethan are twins :P

  • True. I hope his storyline on s2 would be more important and fun to play with.

  • I kinda liked Ortengryn's character - just a couple of little quirks. Like the fact he always wanted to amputate something

Like seriously. You may lose your leg/arm Gared/Rodrik . Constant amputation. So needy :D

  • I also loved it. (I had Duncan too)

  • He died? I dont remember that at all. I do agree with your original point.

  • Indeed, it is stated in the codex after you finish the game.

  • Malcolm, but since he's obviously a player character in season two I'm not too upset. Mira was the worst to me, because Telltale never seemed to know what they wanted to do with her.

  • I say the two Forrester Basterds. I know they will probably play a big role in season 2 and I hope we learn a lot about them.

  • "Please my lord, they make perfect pets! I'll feed them and exercise them..."

Amaya could have been a little more fleshed out in stead of just being angry, complaining about Westeros, and using so much time before finally respecting Rodrik even though he spoke more badass in front of them than Asher ever did

  • This is a multitude of answers but The Whitehills(Ludd/Gryff, Morgryn, and Gwyn) beside 3 of them being assfaced pricks, I want to know their perspective, their relationship with Roose Bolton and Ramsay, how they believe the ironwood was taken from them and why Gwyn is aiding the Forresters instead of her Father and Brother. Also Morgryn with his intentions with Mira and Ludd with claiming Ironrath.

  • I beg to differ! You make the same mistake as most biologists did. They thought that Aristotle was wrong when he said that a pregnant rabbit could get pregnant with more baby rabbits if it kept on mating. To the biologists' astonishment, it turns out that Aristotle was right, and that it's even true for humans. I learned this from QI, so it is hopefully true.

So in theory, shortly after Gregor made Elissa pregnant with Ethan, the mother fucker Ludd could have made her pregnant with Talia as well.

Talia and Ryon needs more character development and choices! I know they're still kids but they can also add drama/action feel like Ryon being trained by Beskha to be the best warrior evaaa!

  • Mira, Gared, and Gwyn

  • Out of the important characters who are (potentially) still alive? Mira, Gared, all of the surviving Whitehills, Talia (plenty of time for that I suspect), Ryon, Sera, Elaena, Morgryn, Malcolm, Ortengryn, Duncan, Sylvie, Royland, Beshka, Andros, and Tom. A lot of characters could use more development but Telltale has lots of time to develop them if they continue with more seasons.
