Colony-esque game?

I just started watching that new show Colony. I like the feel to it, but I think it could be better. Then it occurred to me Colony has a lot of the criteria a telltale games has. Plenty of drama, choices that have the possibility to create alternate universe (Even though in telltale games they do not to save on coding time. Cause lets face it ANY decision could create an alternate universe.), and plenty of "What would you do" situations. Now I understand Telltale games can't just go and create a Colony game at the snap of their fingers. But what is stopping them from creating a game about a dystopian, near future, where earth has been conquered by an alien host that stuck humanity into concentration-camp like cities. Along with a resistance trying to fight the alien host that has presumably conquered the world.

So show of hands who'd play a Colony-esque game? Raises hand

    What you described would be Xcom 2 like game expect that dystopian part and some other stuff.

    Xcom2-esque, colony-esque, you see my point. It would make an awesome telltale game.
