Like Gwyn, i feel like it would have been better if ELeana was with Rodrik if you ket her because she would have saved you at the end of s1 and been in s2 like gyn if you called off the plan. I feel like telltale wanted to do that.

Not really. Elaena was taken or left and she doesn't seem capable to me whereas Gwyn clearly has her ways.
