Anyone think the new dialogue system is over simplified? I mean you're only given 4 speech options which mostly range from Yes No Tell me more or Sarcastic
I think one of the DLC along down the road should allow us to save/resurrect our husband or wife somehow (maybe if we sided with the Institu… morete we have the chance to make them a Synth... Oh God the feels from that choice. I want Nate back, MacCready and Hancock are amazing, but I need my original, beautiful, husbandu Nate...
so anyone think this game is a disappointment??? angry joe did his top 10 disappointing games of 2015, he did put it in there, but a lot of people were saying it was. i mean i fell for the hype but i still loved it(and it wasnt even my goty, not even close). and i dont really care for those idiots on youtube but im just wondering, how did some of you wonderful people think of it???

I enjoyed parts of it, but would I recommend it over Fallout 3? Nope. I found the Capital Wasteland to be far more fun to explore than the Commonwealth. And if you have a PC capable of running it, you can add even more to the game (although the base game alone will keep you busy for quite a while). Some of the more complex mods even add things such as settlement building (one of my favorite parts of Fallout 4).
Unless you're into more streamlined RPG games, then I'd say get Fallout 3 or New Vegas instead of Fallout 4. Or hell, you can get Fallout 1 and 2 on Steam if you're into older games.

That would be pretty awkward if you romanced someone. "Sorry Nate, I know how this looks. But you had been dead, for like an entire week, and Piper is bae".

I love how whenever you skip dialogue, you're character will say something like "Yep", "Mmhmm", "yeah, yeah" or (my favourite so far) "God, the people I meet!". I also love how if you're drunk at the time, the dialogue will change to things like "Sing it brother!" and "Concur!".
On the subject of skipping, one of my favourite things about this series is that if you know the final destination, you can usually skip a ton of content. I started a new playthrough recently, and went to Diamond city without coming into contact with the Minutemen/Preston. Similarly when I went to fight "a certain adversary" and he ordered his henchmen to stand down so we could talk, instead of approaching him for some dialogue I'd already heard, i just launched a Mini Nuke, and ended the fight before it started. Another example is when you're in the Memory Den. You can actually run past all the memories.
I expected it to be disappointing, and was pleasantly surprised that it wasn't (for me that is). The only real issues I have are the reduced dialogue wheel and the lack of evil options and (likeable) evil followers (I hate Strong, Cait's just barely tolerable, and I haven't met X6-88 yet).
Some of the things I love are the updated combat system, Settlement building (although it does get tedious at times), the amazing new followers (obviously with the exceptions of the previously mentioned), weapon and armour modifying, and of course the general ambiance that the Fallout world has (something I feel New Vegas didn't do as well at).
I totally understand that a lot of people were let down by it, and that's fair enough. But for me this is a pretty fantastic game.

Too early to judge without mods and DLC, but my general opinion on Fallout 4 is pretty much like my opinion about Skyrim. Not floored, but I'm definitely getting my money's worth.

That's also how it would be so interesting! Dealing with the choices and shiz as your formerly deceased hubby or Waifu see you again.
And nope, MaCready is Bae.

UPDATE:
I changed the difficulty (I'm playing on Very Easy.... idc lol), recruited MacCready and already romanced his silly little butt. … moreModded out my 10MM pistol and use it exclusively. The game is amazing. I don't think I can play anything else for the next few months. Thank you Bethesda, once again you deliver us something awesome.
Also, thanks everyone for all the advice! Y'all are awesome!
Curie + Cabot's Labcoat + Eyeglasses = Perfect. Though it requires Freeing Lorenzo to get Cabot's Lab coat. A Clean Vaultech Lab coat also works, and you can get 3 of them shortly before you first meet Curie. hehe

"Sounds like something a SCRUB WOULD SAY."
I jk jk. :P
That was a problem I rarely had in Fallout 3.
He's gone. You need to move on.

It was very ambitious but I think it fell short in a few ways. Not disappointed by it, but not my goty either.
Does anyone know if Danse will still be your follower even if you finish the game with The Railroad?
P.S. Curie is the best. SO FUCKING CUTE
Yea, what Chewy said. Not disappointed, but not wowed.

More like something a synth would say!

No, I don't believe so. That was the whole purpose behind BL: TP-S! (Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel!)
Nope i tried F3 after this and just can't
Look here Mungo, only mungoes play on hard difficulty. Cool people have more important things to do.
That's also how it would be so interesting! Dealing with the choices and shiz as your formerly deceased hubby or Waifu see you again.
And nope, MaCready is Bae.
Just saying it would be interesting. And I already did move on, to dorky Mungo MacCready.
But Nate is more beautiful overall.

Anyone have a favorite quest from each game? Mine:
Fallout 3: Power of The Atom
Fallout New Vegas : House Has Gone Bust
Fallout 4: Institute Ending
Don´t want to spoil it, but no, unless you finish the game with the Brotherhood he will stop eventually stop being able as your companion.
Let's just agree that they're both amazing and leave the rest to personal preferences.
I don't remember all the quest names. However one of my favourite moments in gaming was when I had to defend the house in Point Lookout. So much fun.
Shame. I find it funny that X6 will still follow you even if you side against him.
Fallout 3 - Tranquility Lane
Fallout: New Vegas - Come Fly With Me
Fallout 4 - The Silver Shroud, Confidence Man or Blind Betrayal. (mainly because Curie is uber cute when I bring her)
Oh yea. That was a great way to start the DLC.
My 2 favorites are:
"Blah Blah Blah" and "Ugha. Old people."
That was hard as fuck.
My beautiful Sole Survivor
Looks a bit like Kurt Cobain :P
Curie looks hella great with eyeglasses and a tight vault jumpsuit.
push the praise onto a company that doesnt deserve it, yes good idea
Not sure what you want me or anyone else to say dude. I enjoy Skyrim and Fallout 4.

I've currently got her dressed in the Silver Shroud armor. She looks A-mazing.
Oh yea and with the glasses too.
Nick Valentine romance edition dlc.
Pretty sure that what tumblr wants.
My sole survivors. I haven't been on in ages.
Jordan. Level 81. Railroad Ending I have so much health now I just walk around with my vault suit on with some leather armour
I have literally done everything and currently waiting for DLC tbh
Alexandra. Level 60 Brotherhood Ending
not as good as 3 still waiting for dlc release date
Does anybody know how I can avoid the Preston glitch where he is no longer available as a companion after Taking Independence
