Restarted Fallout 4 because I kinda wanted to play it out the way I had Nora do it in my Denouement fanfic. So ultimately, Minutemen ending, going back to screw with the Prydwen afterwards.
i get easily distracted with crafting and make something completely pointless and then a deathclaw comes in and kills everyone like what happened yesterday

Got distracted crafting and building again.
Does anyone know why or where you can find the info. on why the institute does the horrible things that it does. The kidnappings/replacements and assaults on my gosh darn settlements. Never got an explanation on it and I've beaten it 3 times over.

I don't know if this is a glitch but it's pretty funny.
When I was doing the quest Show No Mercy, the vertibird I was in blew up as it landed. I thought I died because my character did that whole death animation thing, but then he got back up and was perfectly fine! The pilot wasn't because he's dead as fuck.
It isn't a glitch, they can get shot down, when you're in them. Even the one used on this quest is just a moderately scripted Vertibird with some unique dialogue. If I recall you don't even have to use it to finish the quest so it isn't important to the quest, just programmed to add a hair more immersion to what would of been a very simple, first time quest as a full metal of the BOS.
Now a real glitch involving this particular Vertibird... I had it spawn on the ground next to the airport instead... I had to fast travel to the airport my first time playing just to use it. It was on fire by the time it took off as it was sitting right behind the firing range, taking random hits the entire time I was confused and lost as it wasn't up with the air ship. lol

Did anyone else have this happen to them?

They want to collect as much data as possible before the people above go extinct (which they view as an inevitability). Then they plan to retake the surface...with SCIENCE.

And more important, that this is only the beginning. We have plans for more. More than $60 worth of new Fallout adventures and features throughout 2016.
Given the expanded DLC plan, the price of the season pass will increase from the current $29.99 to $49.99 USD (£24.99 to £39.99 GBP; $49.95 to $79.95 AUD) on March 1, 2016. However, if you already purchased the season pass for $29.99, nothing changes - you still get everything at no additional cost— the full $60 offering of add-on content for the original price of $29.99. In addition, if you didn’t buy the season pass yet, there is still time: anyone who buys the Season Pass for $29.99 before March 1st will get all $60 worth of content. This is our way of saying thanks to all our loyal fans who have believed in us and supported us over the years.
Looks like anyone who hasn't gotten the season pass (myself included) should nab it now.
The similarities between the Institute and Aperture Laboratories (before GLaDOS turned it into her own twisted playpen) is striking, minus the competition with Black Mesa of course.
you have two entities that preform research, experiments and trials within dangerous areas of study (genetic modification and sentient A.I. are some of the things that they both have meddled in), both led by delusional, cancer-riddled individuals (one more overtly delusional than the other) in a secret subterranean complex.

I guess that answer is good enough. The Institute are always claiming the right thing and whatever horrible stuff I heard about them is wrong, but their actions speak louder than words. If only you can confont them about it.

when you were waiting to see what the dlc was going to be before buying the season pass and now the pass is going up in price unless you already bought
Edit: and then you read the next sentence and find out you're in the clear anyway.
But if you ignore Preston, all the Settlers which need your help gonna get killed because he wasn't able to mark the settlement on your map.
And what's with Danse? Okay, he's a dumb and selfish Brotherhood racist, but he has a nice voice and a good quest.
I like Preston. He provides a lot of pretty insightful comments on some of the quests you do.
I'm mixed with Danse. The way he speaks bores me to death. More so than X6 and Preston ironically. His quest is honestly the only thing I like about him. Good way to gain uber high affinity with Curie, Valentine, or Deacon by the way.

Comments
Telltale should make a game set in the Fallout universe, that would just be orgasmic.

Oh, hey there Nick, you wanted to talk, so what's on your mind, old pal?
Good you finally found time to lis-
DEATHCLAW! -Puts out a Fatman and overreacts- BOOOOM! Level up.
You wanted to say something, Nick?
My Fallout 4 experiences with Nick Valentine. Still better than Codsworth: He "ran" into a Behemoth and attacked him.

This one?
Because science.
Yes. That one indeed.
Nick could be our Sugar daddy ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Raider refuses to be hit with a sledgehammer, so he decides to swim away while judging my actions. smh
ayy
The Institute: "For the betterment of mankind"
My character: "Which would be.......?"
The Institute: "The betterment of mankind".
God, this game is glitchy and i LOVE it!
FALLOUT 4 DLC ANNOUNCED INFORMATION ON ALL HERE
Whale dlc... ;~;
Also, only one story dlc?
They want to collect as much data as possible before the people above go extinct (which they view as an inevitability). Then they plan to retake the surface...with SCIENCE.
I think the robot one will have story.
I'm expecting it to follow Skyrim's Dawngaurd -> Hearthfire -> Dragonborn kinda system.
It sucks that the Far Harbor DLC will be $25. I expected at least $15.
At least we'll have Nick Valentine by our side.
Get the season pass , before March 1st is $30 and you get ALL dlc when they are released. Simple.
Well £30 in my case. Best value for money, and we still got more dlc to come after these 3
This was from the link.

Squad goals.
If anyone gets the meme reference then you're golden
This isn't it! This is just the dlc for the next few months, there's still more to come. This is just the first batch.
No Cait?
Blame the artist, not me.
Curie, Valentine, Deacon, and Hancock are the only ones that matter to me.
