  • We don't ban people for reasons as trivial as that.

I agree. You were definitely not the rude on in this discussion Keep in mind, when I leave a public warning, that's usually after I flagged comments - which means, the offending comments are not visible.

  • The offensive comments are not calling people names, I am saying they are acting like them. For example, "quit acting like an idiot".This comment is not calling someone something, it is pointing out something and not judging someone universally, but just at the time

Did you flag their post? If not, that'll help us. Unless it is a thread we are reading or participating in already at that current time, it's usually more helpful for us if you flag their post.

  • People are allowed to have different opinions, and are allowed to criticize why you hold an opinion - just as you are allowed to do the same onto others.

We can still look into things like that. If you flag the post anyways, it will help us.

  • This site is messed up. People just openly criticize people and they defend themselves, but when the other person stands up to the other person, the person who stands up for themselves gets flagged. Also, when somebody says a joke that is actually serious and something they like, it sometimes is flagged for trolling reasons. It is not fair, sure, some people defiantly deserve, sometimes looking back, I deserved some critzising, but when people say something, somebody with more respect just critizeses them

People are allowed to have different opinions, and are allowed to criticize why you hold an opinion - just as you are allowed to do the same onto others.

  • You don't get it, I didn't say people shouldn't be allowed to have different opinions, I'm just saying people should be more respectful and well mannered.

That's usually because they are breaking the forum guidelines and/or derailing the thread - kind of like how you are derailing the thread right now.

As long as you defend your self civilly (and when the discussion is on topic), you are allowed to criticize things you don't like as long as you are civil and in the right thread. For example, the Episode 5 waiting thread is not a good place to criticize Minecraft since we have a notice asking discussion in those threads be kept between genuine fans.

This thread is not the place to discuss moderation choices, so I'm going to ask we get back on topic.

  • No, this is what I am talking about. People copying what somebody says and criticizing it.

  • This isn't the topic for discussing moderation choices or the state of the forums. If you have a problem, you can send a private discussion to one of the volunteer Moderators and/or flag offending posts from other users.

  • I agree wholeheartedly - people should have different opinions, as that is what makes a forum interesting to participate in. Just get your ideas across in a way that follows the forum guidelines, and have those discussions in the right threads instead of going to other threads to start off topic conversations that provoke people.

From this point on, I'm asking we get on topic to Season 1 writers leaving Telltale.

But that is what I am saying, people should have different opinions, but people with more online strength overpower another persons opinion

  • That happens to me a lot, I am leaving this discussion, I am so sick of everybody critzing people and nobody doing anything about it. I am leaving

What happened to the Season 1 writers and directors?

I just realised this is my 100 hundredth discussion on the forum. Also

    This is a great video

  • My guess is their hearts weren't into it anymore because of the people at telltale. I don't know of too many people who start big projects like that, and then quit. A lot of them take pride in their work, and like to see it finished.

If you watch my video above, you will see they are happier doing their own thing anyways and aren't really interesting in going back to a bi

  • In the video, they specifically said that there were good people who they liked at Telltale. They just "had an itch" to do something different when the time was still good in the prime of Season 1's success.

  • That could be completely true. But how often do you see people leave companies saying great things, and then later find out that it was just bs and they left for other reasons?

  • Well, considering that all Telltale games have been the same since Walking Dead: Season 1 (minus Poker Night 2), on top of having made most of their older games on a similar template as well, I personally think that they have a valid excuse to want to do something new besides making several episodic story games.

    However, to each their own.

  • In full agreement and people shouldn't try to get them to come back, but what I find particularly ironic is even if they did come back, there's no guarantee all of the complainers would enjoy their work. Every work is subjective and I'm sure people dislike some of their favorite author's books. As proven by the fact that episodes, not from TWD S2, have been enjoyed by S2's writers.

You should see the Steam forums right now . . . all of the complaints about milking TWD and others saying no-one asked for this. That they'd prefer TWD S3 . . .

Honestly, there's no winning for Telltale and people have yet to realise that aside from the monetary benefit, products are made simply because someone wants to. They also don't realise their tastes are subjective. They seem to think they have the right to dictate what's made.

Anyway . . . just a sad state of affairs all around and I promised myself recently that I wouldn't reply to trolls etc. and get drawn into things. Sorry for the rant.

You aren't the only one, and the lengths people will go through to dismiss games before/after Season 1 are ridiculous. I saw someone befo
