Damn, man, how about some easier question? For example, who created the universe or what is the meaning of life?..
I love them all. They'… morere all special, and greatly written, and awesome. This question would be difficult enough if we were talking just about the ingame Whitehills, but there are also Whitehills from the expanded fanon (au+roleplaying). Greta and Roslin are more precious than words can tell. I've chilled with my love for Gwyn a bit lately, but she's still one of my favorite characters. Ludd is smashing. Simply smashing. Torrhen's a piece of shit and I'd smack him as hard as possible if I could, but he is just as smashing as Ludd, if not more, and hot, and cunning, and charismatic, and powerfully written. I doubt telltale will ever make a better Torrhen that the one Jake has, so they should conceal their pride and offer him a place in their team of writers. Ebbert only appeared in the rp so far, but I love him already...

So, here's a progress update:
* One scene is finished completely - it's a fairly short one, so I don't have enough prepared in advance … moreto warrant starting to post yet.
* Another scene is written and prepared for me to start work on making images after I finish the second scene of Part Two,
* Most environments/maps are finished, I can only think of one I have to complete.
* A certain character from one of these family trees has been completely redesigned.
* More Highpoint stuff, anyone?
I would love to see more Highpoint stuff, since it means I get to see more Roslin. It gives us more insight on the Whitehills' lives when they're not at war and makes them more human and relatable.

His gut wound in the AU wasn't as severe as in the game, which is why he's up and about. There was also some hardcore self-surgery before the au's events.
I love how how dark and scary Rodrik looks. It'll be interesting to see how he plans on killing Morgryn with just him and Tom.
Where would Morgryn be anyway?
Where would Morgryn be anyway?
Rodrik's got it worked out, don't you worry. Morgryn's somewhere in the wolfswood if you take this into account. (It's canon to the AU)
The part of me that writes Torrhen thinks it's funny that Morgryn believed he had a chance in hell of claiming Ironrath, going behind the Whitehills' back to try to get it by marrying Mira. Torrhen probably would've done more than just cut Morgryn's fingers off in that situation.
I can't say I've thought about that version of events too much, though.

In that case all the fanfictions on FF.net and AO3 are also games? XD
The point is, though, I think you're overestimating what a single person can do in comparison to Telltale, who had however many people working on GOT S1. The closest comparable form of media to the S2AU is probably a comic that has a page released each day - and you don't read a comic and wonder why you can't interact with the characters, y'know? Same deal with a movie.
I'm not trying to make a game here, I'm trying to make a story. If I was trying to make GOT S2 outright, I'd do everything how TTG did it - 6 episodes, each with 5 major choices. Instead of that, though, this AU is split into three parts/acts and there won't always be five major choices - part one had four. Besides, the format doesn't work well with choices when I have to spend anywhere from seven to fifteen hours a day building up images and preparing them days in advance with no knowledge of what choice people will make. It's hard work, and I do it for fun.
Nah, I'm not pissed off by any means, I was just trying to clarify why some of your suggestions might be tough to implement. That said I do have some interactive stuff planned for further into Part Two - after all, it's only just started XD

Gryff's my favourite too. He's an awesome and interesting character.
Hey hey Jake, finally dragged my butt out of Tumblr and onto the forums.
Highpoint stuff sounds nice, get a better look at the current Whitehills' lives.

Very nearly at the point where stuff will go public - keep in mind that doesn't mean we're going to see new posts tomorrow.
But I'm fairly sure next week might be a thing.
Part 2 starts this saturday (20th Feb)!
Haha! I'm so excited
I can't wait!!! It will be glorious!!
Does the alternate universe still follow the HBO show ?
Awesome news
Yeah - that's why it's snowier now. It's based around the time winter starts coming in the show.
I thought Asher would reappear when I saw Ashes....then I remembered...
sniff
3-4 days to go until part two, and I have a LOT of stuff lined up. I've got a lot of work done already, and all is going well. It's exciting.
Tomorrow's the day, folks. Prepare yo' butts.
can't wait!
Here’s a quick poll because I'm interested to know how many people actually follow the S2AU:

Well, I'm excited.
Part 2.01 (It's back!)
Wow, Rodrik seems even more tired. :c
I suppose that's what happens when you push yourself too far while still having a healing gut wound. He probably hasn't been sleeping a lot, either.
GET HYPE
So is there an explanation for how he survived that gut wound? Like a surprise maester or wandering Septa/Septon that was good at healing people?

If Mira married Morgryn would he be Lord of Ironrath in your AU? Or would Torrhen have somehow put a stop to it?

Yeah I didn't expect you to have thought about it. I was just curious, thinking "what if?"
I couldn't stand to watch Lee's amputation of his arm, I don't even want to imagine what Rodrik would have to do.
Man, I guess it would be pretty ballsy for Morgryn to try it.
You are aware it's not a game, right?
Part 2.02 (I overdid the sleeping last night so I missed my usual post time.)
In that case all the fanfictions on FF.net and AO3 are also games? XD

I really hope Rodrik gets some sleep after all this.
God knows he needs it. Just go to bed, Rodrik - it's not that urgent.
Part 2.03 (I miss my personal deadline once more, oh boy)
Part 2.04 (Another POV tomorrow - who's it gonna be?)
Loved that! I wasn't sure if you were gonna use lines from the next time you put together. I'm thinking Ryon's gonna be next.
Hoping for Talia.
I, uh... I tried.
All of those lines will make it into part to, aside from Torrhen's 'we're just getting to the best part' bit.
