Are there any music artists you listen to that you feel deserve more love?
As somebody with depression and a slew of other mental issues, I've found that music is the thing that soothes me more than anything. More than friends, family, medicine, etc. So I've grown a large appreciation for music, the people who do music, and the lyrics within songs. However, we live in a generation where media pays more attention to very... just music that doesn't mean anything. Music that feels pointless and is just about Sex, money and drugs. Which is not okay considering how beautiful music is as an art, and how important it is to people in general. However, there are those artists who put more importance to what they write. So my question is, are there any highly unrecognized or unnoticed (by the masses) artists that you feel deserve more love?
I feel like Akira Yamaoka, Mary Elizabeth McGlynn, LiSA, Casey Lee Williams, Jeff Williams, Madeon, Dorothy and Trocadero are all artists that deserve way more attention and love. I'll leave some links to their music. Anywho, I've said my 2 cents. Discuss.

One of my favorite bands, Týr, is relatively unknown. I think if more people that enjoy metal heard their music that they'd probably enjoy it.
