What country would you live in?
Let's say you had to move from the country you are in now and could pick any other country in world to live in, what county and why?
Personally I would pick the People's Republic of China because its pretty cheap and the jobs there can pay pretty good especially if you are into teaching English which is unfortunately 90% of Chinese jobs for foreigners (according to my job hunting research) but there are jobs you can take that doesn't require that much skills and hopefully can make it with that job.

If I had to move , I would probably go to England. Even if the culture is vastly different over there , the language is still the same , and it probably wouldn't be as big of a culture shock as moving to somewhere like Italy or Mexico.
Personally? Assuming that I learnt Norwegian, I would probably move to Norway.
Probably Japan, been before. Great culture, people and lifestyle. Plus, the snow is excellent for skiing in winter. I loved it over there.
Only Canada. I've been there. It's pretty big.
Great Britiain.
The more I hear about public policy, gender equality, social mores, etc., I'm coming to find there is such a thing as the Danish dream.
Probably New Zealand or Tahiti because they have amazingly beautiful landscapes!
We also have free health care.
Where is it you live Goust?
And lots of snow.
Last year we had loads.
If I spoke the language, Sweden. I guess probably England or a sane part of America.
Okay, "lesser insane part". The gun control areas seem like a good start.
I've always dreamed of living in Canada or New Zealand, just two more years and it might become a reality.
England or Denmark.
I've been to NZ and it truly is beautiful. Incredible landscapes.
Not a country yet, but I'm thinking about joining an International Brigade (building, not fighting) in Rojava. I already have a former roommate fighting with the YPG and the communities are in constant need of project organizers and general labor. It's a bit dangerous and my family would be mad about it, but they're building something very special there and I'd be honored to play a part in it.
It all depends where my life takes me and how the political/military situation develops.
I would really love to live in Switzerland. I've done a lot of projects on their events and geography: I definitely like what I see. If not Switzerland, then I certainly wouldn't mind Canada, Great Britain or Germany as an alternative.
Spain I went there couple of times it's hot and the people are really nice I love the football culture there
Me? Well, I plan to become an expat after I've lived my life of adventure and created many good stories. I'll tell you where I'll go: Cotacachi. It's in Ecuador, a small mountain town, where after much research, has spring like weather, rich culture, and the people there are friendly. Plus the cost of living is low and perfect. Maybe I'll visit there first, see if I like it. And if I do, I think it will be a wonderful place to live in my senior years.
Any of us are looking for our Zihuatanejo.
And Tim Hortons.
France mais c'est juste un reve.
England or Canada
Good luck Chicago also sucks. Just move the Canada, everyone is considerably more sane there. It's like magic, cross that boarder and walla, happier country... happier citizens, considerably less crime, and Rednecks are more like the Red Green show than likely candidates for the KKK.
USA. because of the galaxy 3d movies.
Japan because I love the culture, anime and manga and generally everything about it. particularly Akihabara
If anybody here would like to live in Canada, we'll switch places, okay? I don't want that snow anymore....
I would like to live anywhere in Europe but I would prefer France
England.
Okay, but this thread isn't about what movement or organization you would like to join, in fact your comment pretty much has nothing to do with this thread's subject.
Syria would be pretty nice.
lol
Sry i meant where do you LIVE? (Damn broken spellcheck)
Nice to see you again mark bro.
I don't know if Syria is still considered a country. Most of the cities are destroyed and the mayority of the population fled to other countries.
The gun control areas are the parts where the murder rate is highest.
\
Have fun!
@Kamerdan Yeah .,but the health care in Canada sucks.
Southern Syria is still fairly intact, as is Rojava.
Aleppo though? Bad news.
I know. What i meant is that the United Nations has certain requirements to call something a country.
The 'Democratic Republic of Congo', for example, is no longer considered an official counter since there is no official government or judicial branch and its mostly run by warlords.
So im not sure if it still qualifies as a country or is now considered a territory.
is Antarctica counted as a Country?
Uhh no, mostly because Antarctica has been claimed by Argentina, Australia, Chile, France, Norway, UK, and New Zealand so if you want to be in Antarctica you would have to pick between those countries.
