And personally, I think it's all this electronic interactions, like Facebook, Twitter, and alike, are causing people's social skills to deteriorate.
Instead of going out in the real world and exercising their social muscles, getting life experience, and building relationships with other people, they're often times sitting in front of their computer screens, or in from of the idiot box - aka, the TV set.
And now you know why I'm even more reluctant, and in fact WILL NOT be posting a selfie. And I'm not saying that using the Internet is bad, but I am saying that it should only be used sparingly.
Social skills are just like any skill. Nobody is just born with them. You have to hone them through work. They're like a muscle - and like a muscle they can be strengthened with proper and consistent use. Used to little, they grow weak and will not be able to help you when you really need them too.
