I really liked this scene though, the transition really impressed me as kid:

  • The scene from Skyward Sword where Zelda puts herself into a frozen state to save Hyrule and Skyloft from destruction. It was a really heartbreaking scene in the story.

  • Why does this look like a cheesy Matrix ripoff? lol.

Spec Ops: The Line Spoilers! Using the White Phosphorus equipment to kill a bunch of white dots on your screen. Knowing they were soldiers in you way, but then finding out that a group of em were innocent civilians. Fuck you COD.

    This whole game

I would actually post all my fave moments, but there's too many, so I'll do it later when I can narrow it down.

  • Intros to Fallout 1, 2, 3 or New Vegas.

  • The acting in this scene is amazing

  • It's good, but it's not the same without an Ink Spots song. (Ink Spots is the group responsible for quite a few songs used in Fallout, in case you didn't know)

One of my favourite moments from a game would probably be the ending of Xenoblade Chronicles. I just felt like it was a satisfying end to a long journey, and it wrapped up everythig nicely.

  • Owww, my feels....hell I had hard time keeping my self together during that....

enter link description here Goosebumps. Every. Single. Time.

  • When I'm gone, they'll just find another monster. They have to, because they have to justify their wages.

  • I have to say, Killzone 1-3's openings were all awesome, imo, thanks to Visari's speeches and being accompanied by a great soundtrack composed by Joris de Man. It's a shame, imo, that they killed off Visari in Killzone 2, and didn't bring back Joris de Man to compose Shadow Fall's soundtrack.

  • Agreed. Guerilla Games did a pretty good job with the Helghast, to the point where most people (including me) symphatize more with them than with ISA.And everytime i hear one of Visari's speeches i can't help but to feel they're actually the good guys.

  • Yeah, Visari's speeches just make the ISA seem like they are the real bad guys of the story. And honestly, they kinda are, considering:

The Helghast are descended from humans once united under the banner of the Helghan Corporation. The corporation was a huge conglomerate, holding a practical monopoly over a number of precious resources. The company's continued success made the ruling body of Earth -- the UCN -- paranoid. It began to impose regulations and taxes in an effort to undermine Helghan's economic influence for no other reason than to protect itself from a perceived threat. However, when Helghan stuck to its guns and declared itself independent, the UCN attacked, trying to drive the corporation away from its resource-rich planets.

Long story short, the UCN eventually succeeded in driving the Helghan corporation back to the eponymously named planet Helghan, where living conditions are practically inhospitable, and settled its own military -- the ISA -- on a verdant and beautiful Vekta. While life on Helghan is already harsh, UCN embargoes and restrictions on the planet make things even harder, and its citizens, undergoing rapid genetic changes, become the Helghast -- hateful, angry, and wishing to take back what they felt was stolen from them.

Honestly, I'd that it would've been better if we had played as a soldier on the Helghast's side in Killzones 1-3, or at the very least 3.

With you on that, what saddens me the most is after 150 hours in this world, I reached a point where there was no more, those credits rolling were the saddest credits ever, you go on such a huge journey with these characters and it's sad to see it end. Honestly my favourite game ever. The music is excellent also.

Alright I got a few serious entries now:

    Fallout 3 prologue.

    Dark Souls 1: Final Boss

Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep: Aqua fights Terra

    Dragon's Dogma: Ending

Metal Gear Solid 4: Microwave Hallway and Final Fight

  • I feel exactly the same way. I was sad to see those credits, after spending so many hours getting attached to the characters and to the world. Beyond The Sky is an excellent track and it fits with the ending. Heck, the whole soundtrack is excellent.

Xenoblade 1 is still my favourite game of all time. X is great, and my GOTY of 2015, but while it was, imo, a step forward in gameplay and sidequests, the main story wasn't as good and a lot of the characters were lacking in character development, imo. Of course, X ends in a cliffhanger, unlike the original, so a potential sequel can fix this. Afterall, Xenosaga Episode 1 (also by Monolith Soft) was also pretty much juat setting up the story, and the questions players had only really started being answered in Xenosaga Episode 3. At least from what I've read. I haven't played Xenosaga, and only Episode 2 came out in Europe, but I plan to play it, someday. I haven't played Xenogears (the firat Xeno game) either, and I still see people call it a masterpiece, and that even now it has the best story in gaming. Thankfully, if I want to play it the legal way, all I have to do is create a dummy US PSN account and buy one of those cash cards.
