    From Telltale games:

    • Lee's death. (The Walking Dead S1 E5)
    • Rodrik/Asher's death. (Game of Thrones S1 E5)
    • Mira's determinant death. (Game of Thrones S1 E6)
    • The Forrester funeral. (Game of Thrones S1 E2)
    • Staying at Wellington with AJ. (The Walking Dead S2 E5)
    • Scooter's death (Tales from the Borderlands E4)
    • Loader Bot and Sasha's "deaths" (well, sort of deaths, since they didn't actually die). (Tales from the Borderlands E5).

Outside of Telltale's games (there aren't many, so...):

    • Sacrificing Chloe ending. (Life is Strange E5)
    • Also this sad moment from Fallout 3. :(

I don't know why but it made me so sad T_T

  • Xenoblade Chronicles X's ending.. because I realized I would need to wait at least 5 years to have my questions answered.

  • OMG... yes... yes that Fallout 3 moment broke me so much... I slowly walked to the the radio and turned it off, didn't loot the place or anything... I felt so sad.

  • Valkyria Chronicles: Mission, Report: What Lies Beyond Hate, Captain Eleanor Varrot's personal story. Oh, and After Credits final cutscene... omg... well nvm the final cutscene of the game is a mix of happy and sad but it's so emotionally powerful it's tear dropping. (PS one of the best video games of all time, if you've not played it, that is a sin.....)

Ace Combat 4: The entire story about Yellow 013.

Mobile Suit Gundam Battlefield Record U.C. 0081: Zeon ending. Main Zeon character had a locket with 3 friends in a photo, lets say by the end of the game, none of them are alive. After the credits a unique cutscene appears not available on the Federation version of the story where one of the characters in that locket speaks saying "When I arrived on Earth I hoped to see the tear drops from the sky. But this war has brought enough tears, so I can wait." Being she was raised in space, she has never seen rain. Irony aside if it wasn't for the war she likely would of never had that opportunity either. I found it way too sad. Pity the game was never translated. hehe

The ending to season 1 of TWD and the Wellington ending of season 2.

The ending to The Last Of Us, less of a moment that would make me tear up but more in that it made me think about how Joels lie could have affected him and Ellies relationship.

The ending of Dragon Age Origins if you sacrificed yourself to kill the Archdemon, even more so if Alistair was King and you romanced him.

  • What's the third one???

  • That's when Talia sings at the funeral of her brother.

  • Peppa Pig season finale :(

@Duck_Hunt might have the same opinion as me.

  • Telltale Game of Thrones- Rodrik's death scene. Hardest choice I've ever had to make in a game. Asher and Rodrik were my two favourite characters and I never could decide who I liked better.

Dragon Age Inquision-Loghain's death scene. I made the unpopular choice of sparing Loghain in Dragon Age Origins. At first it was because I wanted to try and avoid killing people, but then I grew to love him so much. I was so happy to see him in Inquisition and I hesitantly sacrificed him over Hawke. I'm still not over it.

Life is Strange-Rachel's revealed fate. We never met Rachel but when Chloe and Max found her it broke me. Chloe's voice actress did an excellent job with that scene.

  • in suprised no one has mentioned aerith from final fantasy vii yet

I'm surprised nobody has mentioned a moment from the Silent Hill franchise yet. There are so many sad moments in it, each one making me cry every time I play. Oh well, I'll list mine.

    • Silent Hill: Lisa Garland's death

    • Silent Hill 2: Room 312

    enter link description here

    • Silent Hill 2: Magdalene (Maria's first death)

    enter link description here

    • Silent Hill 3: Death of Harry Mason

    enter link description here

    • The Wolf Among Us: Georgie's death.

    enter link description here

    • Dark Souls: Great Grey Wolf Sif

Yeah I'm pretty emotional, lots of game moments make me at the very least tear up.

The Empress Ciri ending in The Witcher 3.

Bittersweet as hell, but my favourite ending in the game. The music, the final shot as Geralt watches his daughter ride off, unsure if he'll ever see her again...beautiful ending to a beautiful game. I have so much I could talk about from it. :S

"Traveled across half the world to find you...but I never intended to force anything on you."

Of course, for pure misery there's also the 'bad' ending, where both Geralt and Ciri supposedly die. But that one is just..too much. Empress ending is the perfect amount of bitter and sweet.

  • That shit was sad

Peppa Pig season finale @Duck_Hunt might have the same opinion as me.

  • Getting kicked out of Vault 101 at the end of 'Trouble on the Homefront' in Fallout 3. Given that your character's dad dies and you later get kicked out of your home (possibly for good), it means the Lone Wanderer has more or less had their life destroyed. It's not a very emotional moment in the game itself, but there's one fanfic I've read that makes it a lot more emotional.
