Dating Simulators
Wouldn't it be great if Telltale Games made a dating sim. game? Considering Telltale's timed-decisions, great cutscenes, and hilarious dialogue, I think Telltale's gaming style really fits the genre! Except for the company's art style, some of the characters look scary and not that lovable -_-". Please share some of your ideas for a Telltale Game style Dating Simulator, and if you disagree with the idea of Telltale making a dating sim, share some dating sim. ideas you created yourself! And if you hate dating sims and if you hate this post...please, share your thoughts in the comments below. To those people, I deeply apologize for sounding so stupid and annoying on this post.

To be honest, I've been looking for a game that's not entirely about violence but focuses on romance, cause I personally love the romance in games especially in Bioware's games, what about a game where you play a student during their first year of high school? Building relationships, opening opportunities and deciding the path of their future? It's one of the things that I liked about Life Is Strange, of course not everyone would like it but I personally wouldn't mind a more realistic adventure game that deals with the good and bad of real life.
No way would I take any dating simulator seriously. I would try the most outrageous things it would allow, just to see what my date would do (probably summon the authorities).

If it gets the Tales from the Borderlands fandom on tumblr to shut the fuck up about the lack of romantic options then sure, I'm game.
But I want Telltale to troll Rhack by not including that shit.

Does anyone remember a while ago when someone suggested making a Pornhub Telltale game? That's not that different.
But to be honest, if it imitated a style like Poker Night, I wouldn't mind it. Imagine how talking dirty to Kenny, Bigby Wolf, Handsome Jack or even Asher would look like. Endless possibilities right there!
There's a visual novel called Katawa Shoujo that sounds like something you're looking for. It's free too.
There's some mature scenes that can be turned off if you're sensitive to that kinda stuff.
I'm strangely not against this, despite how much I like TellTale Games the way they are.

A dating sim set in Telltale High, a High school where all the Telltale characters go to. The player can pick whichever character they want their avatar (the protagonist) to date.
The teachers could be based on members of Telltale's staff such as the writers, and the headmaster would be Kevin Bruner... until he mysteriously disappears halfway through the game and is replaced by John Riccitielo. This is actually foreshadowing how Riccitielo will one day become Telltale's CEO and how he'll sink Telltale into the ground, with very low quality games. Then he'll sell Telltale to another company. No, not EA, but to a far worse company. Konami. Get ready for "Pachinko Gearvania Evolution Hills - A Telltale Games Series". 5 episodes. Each episode is 1 hour long. All for the low price of 60$.
Alright... I understand there are plenty of people here who dislike Rhack, and I am not expecting that to change. I also understand that Rhack is all over tumblr and that tumblr is full of annoying people, but still, it's a ship just like any other. So when I see a bunch of people talking about respect between shippers and getting EXTREMELY easely offended when something is said about their ship dissing Rhack, I find it quite irritating really. I am obviously not talking about you, but it's been a while I am spying the telltale thread without even having an account and it's just another ''Rhack shippers are annoying'' ''everything is fine but not Rhack'', comment I would have prefered not to see. You know why Rhack shippers are annoying ? Because they are a lot ! The bigger the fandom is, the more there will be people like that. It was funny for awhile, and I am sure it still is because people mainly ship Rhysha or Rhyona here ( I do ship both Rhysha and Rhack to be honest ) but...Just... move on. Please.
Also, about the thread ! I am sure Telltale would manage to do an amazing dating simulator with a cool enough story line. I like the fact they are trying not to do the same thing over and over and over again but at the same time I would say people are already finding ships everywhere, turning all games all about it : Why encourage it ? ( I say that but I am indeed a shipper, really invested in characters relationships whatever they are supposed to be. It's just that if my ship doesn't become canon, I am not going to blame it on any other ship. )
Actually it's because of it's canon abuse.
The topic of abuse is upsetting to me. I can't just move on from a ship which romanticize abuse. Let alone, I've been bullied by that group before. Rhack shippers aren't annoying because they are popular, Rhack shippers are annoying because the way they treat people who dislike Rhack is disgusting, especially abuse survivors. I've been constantly harassed by anon because I am open about not liking Rhack, they tried to claim me as homophobic and say because I'd rather have Rhys with Fiona than Jack that doesn't make me a lesbian. Also how can I move on if I constantly see it on my dash everyday because people give a "fuck you" to tumblr saviour and not tag it?
My point is, I have every reason to dislike Rhack. And me making light hearted fun about it on a forum, isn't as bad as what the shippers have done to the antis on tumblr.

Because some people genuinely want to avoid shipping wars here no matter which ship it's about. Better say '' Let's avoid shipping wars as long as the other ship is healthy and popular otherwise fuck their shippers''.
Also, the hate you received is because it's a popular ship. That's exactly what I was talking about. There wouldn't much people who would dare to hate on someone who disagrees with their beliefs, if their beliefs are unpopular.
You're not respecting Rhack fans who are just as much deserving of the respect than any other shippers... I am not devastated to see comments like that here, I am disappointed only when I realise it's just Rhack and no other ship. If Rhack was something big in here, would you do the same thing ? or keep avoiding shipping wars ? There actually are some Rhack shippers in here...they just are the minorities so they keep their mouth shut. There are always different people who like different things, Rhack shippers who romanticize the relationship and just want another cute/sexy homosexual ship and Rhack shippers who like that respect and admiration Rhys felt for Jack from the beginning until the very end ( when he imitated the poster without even realising... ), thosewho pay attention to the sexual referencies coming from no other than Jack's mouth, who do understand that Jack was a big part of what took Rhys where he is and for that, I mean...Rhysha and Rhyona can't compare. I don't even say that to talk down to Rhysha or Rhyonna shippers given I think Rhys is attracted to them rather than Jack. It's just that in terms of development, Jack was much more impactful.
There are also those Rhack shippers who are disrepectul, who do not tag their posts and accuse everyone to be homophobic but not only are they ''tumblr problems'' rather than ''Rhack shippers problems'' but they are also not true for every single shipper.
For an healthy relationship I wouldn't get behind Rhack or Rhisquez, I would prefer Gayperion, Rhysha, Rhyona.... But I don't care about shipping an healthy relationship or not. All I am here for is interesting ones.
It's bothering me that people keep talking about romanticizing when really, not everybody does that, some people DO like the relationship as it is and realise completely how ''wrong'' it would be in real life... but they don't care, because it's NOT real life.
Shipping is not that serious, I, myself, don't care about it. It's just the difference of treatment that bothers me, and the ''romanticizing''/''abuse//''you're wrong to ship that'' kind of ideas. You don't choose what you like or find interesting. At the end of the day, it's still fictional and it doesn't mean you look for something similar in real life.
You mainly explained why you disliked the shippers. Honestly, I encountered the same issues with other ships so I understand but the shippers are not the ship and the shippers don't all share the same mindset. Honestly, I don't even want anyone to change. I know you are having fun by joking about Rhack/Rhack shippers/tumblr. I know there are not enough Rhack shippers here to care, but even if there were Rhack shippers, they would change ship or go to tumblr because here it's just...not fun ? So I know it doesn't even matter. But I had to say you are not following your own ''rules'', which are not mine at all because I am on tumblr and there is much more hate on ships. The difference is, there is not a whole group of person on Tumblr who pretend to respect other ships and yet doesn't mind doing exactly what they dislike on a particular ship.

I just had to get it off my chest, because honestly, I know I am right. Tumblr is a mess, but being conceited ( not you this time but really some other people on here ) doesn't erase the flaws of this community.
There are adorable people everywhere, tumblr and telltale community are no exceptions, Rhack shippers neither, just remember that.
