Very good offer for people who haven't picked up some of Telltale's more recent games. Too bad I own them already, I'd buy it.
yeah, i own them all except game of thrones and puzzle agent, but not all on steam, so i got it, plus i have gifts now, and there are more to be added later.
This is a really good bundle. Sam and Max: The Devil's Playhouse is a really underrated title if you don't mind puzzle solving, and it's a good blend of Telltale's classic puzzle games/modern cinematic titles, as they were firing on all cylinders at that point in terms of blending the two.
The game has dead people, walking and zombies. What more could you fans want? Super powers? It has that too! The game has everything that's popular!
It also has a noir themed episode with a canine detective! Want to know what else has that? Wolf Among Us! If you like Wolf Among Us, play this!
Buy it people!
-insert popular 2015 meme involving Shia Labeouf here-
if you wanna get even stevens with the holes in your telltale game collection and transformers it into a more complete collection, point your eagle eye towards humble bundle so you can fill your days with constantine telltale gameplay
YO! The Devil's Playhouse is legit only a buck! For people who want to check out a pre walking dead series I highly recommend it. You don't need any previous knowledge of the early seasons.
Have a few of these on Kindle....now for 12 whole bucks I get all of these games on Steam....truly this is a good day.
Bit sad that the first and second season of S&M aren't in there, the third one is great but it doesn't have that nostalgia the first ones have for me.
They were in a previous one. I think it's just a case now of too many games.
(or they are coming Tuesday)
What are these Humble Bundles? I've only seen them a few times but don't really know much about them, I'd like to buy the bundled games but I kinda feel like I'd be taking advantage of charity x.x but I might not have enough money for bigger donations :x
The initial intention of Humble Bundles was for indie developer recognition and to gain fans. The charity is a plus. I'll be honest, I give more to the indie bundles than the Triple As for that reason. Let's face it, TTG is NOT concerned about whether or not they can make another game at this point.
They also just got $3(the cut I gave them) out of me for the two games I didn't own(second tier) that I wouldn't have bought otherwise. I wouldn't feel bad. They know that this is operating on a loss. Pay what you feel comfortable with and don't feel bad. They give you Steam Product Redemption Keys for each game. You redeem them within the Steam application.
Ah ok, well I'm practically paying full price for the console versions of their games so I guess I should get them, especially since donating something is better than donating nothing and these games probably would've already sold their highest amount before being introduced in the bundle?(I'm just guessing).
Thanks for the explanation ^-^
Something like 90+% of a video game's sales are within the first 6 months of release(it might be over 95 even. I don't recall exactly). For Telltale, that's probably more like 3 months considering the episode format they use. GoT being on the tail end of that would be why it's a premium bundle title. Steam and Humble sales tend to start going crazy after that period as any additional sales are considered a bonus at that point.
Oh, I see, that's good information, I feel like I should start saving more for games rather than buying them at release, although I usually can't help it with Bioware, Sony and TTG games xD
new games added today, strong bad's cool game for attractive people: season 1, and jurassic park: the game
For newer TTG fans whom bought this and are looking at trying out their older titles:
Do NOT start with Strong Bad. It's a good game, but it's really not a good one to get used to their old point and click system. It starts a bit slower than the others.
i would say strong bad almost entirely relies on its humour, if you enjoy it's humor, that is all you need to want to progress, if the humour just doesn't work for you well........ i don't think i it will be fun, not that the humour is too niche that only a select few will get it, but i think maybe compared to sam and max where you may not really find it funny but could easily still enjoy it, strong bad doesn't really work without the humour.
just my opinion though.
Not a bundle, but it IS Telltale Week at The Humble Store
Unfortunately, it doesn't have everything. If you only started playing video games in 2010 though, it has you covered.
