What do you think about Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs?
I think it totally fucking sucks. It was NOTHING like TDD. No lantern oil, no sanity meter, there's no need for exploring, you can barely pick up anything, it just totally sucks. The Chinese Room did a really shit job.

It's interesting and the story is absolutely fantastic. Plus the game is beautiful. But it's simply not an Amnesia game. They could have made it a completely new IP and it would have been 100 times better. If I look at this game as Amnesia, I hate it. But if I look at the good things about the game, I can see potential for more games like it, just preferably not more Amnesia games like it. Although, even looking at it from a "This isn't amnesia" perspective, Amnesia is still a better game at it's base.
Also fuck the Chinese Room, they're asshats who don't care about their fans and only about the money.
Exactly.
I think the game is fine, not as good as Dark Descent though. Also that electric pig boss fight at the end was retarded as hell.
IKR?!

I haven't played this game but I watched Swingpoynt playing it a little bit. I don't know about the ending so no spoilers. But I did play the Dark Descent and it was the scariest game I've ever played.
Don't buy A Machine for Pigs. It sucks.
Alright then.
Well, actually it depends on what you like in a horror game.
It's good, not Amnesia. One of the best walking simulators around.
I'm not a fan of the pig villains in this game. I got a little spoiled when I was watching Swingpoynt's montage compilation on Outlast and Amnesia A Machine for Pigs.
Yeah, the story is good, but the gameplay is total crap. If you don't like crappy gameplay, then yeah.
I don't think I'll plan to play it unless I'm so bored and I've nothing else to play.
