Because it's probably the more interesting answer. People probably already know Namond can hear because he's been listening to Talia's words.
That option is just a bit of comedy relief and then angst : )
You know, I have disliked Namond for his actions back at when I first saw him, but now I feel pity for him. The guy only wanted to keep his family safe, but instead it cost him an ear, it nearly costed him his life and his whole family.
I don't think I could hate him after he just admitted his guilt and saved Talia and Elaena from being captured again. So, I forgive him.
This is a peaceful moment they're both having together. It's nice to be able to forget about all the grief and survivor's guilt for even a little while.
What would Lyarra say if Taila had decided to toss the knife?

That was sweet how Lyarra embraced Talia as she expressed her survivors guilt to her. She really needs more support and comfort after what she's experienced.
I don't think it's survivor's guilt. Talia feels unclean because an action she took an action that caused a man to die. I wouldn't call that survivor's guilt.

I think it's both Survivor's Guilt and from killing the Whitehill Soldier. She killed a man, which she hadn't done before, and then lost Royland (and Ortengryn). Double the pain, Double the despair.

Back to Highpoint, but this scene is only a couple posts long. There's some stuff that needs to be caught up on (such as the report Talia's escaped, and how the Warricks' former ward, Myles, is faring. Among other things).
Part 2.50 (I don't know why Torrhen puts up with the loser cadet branch)

Awesome. Can't wait to see it. ^_^
Part 2.39 (All about the ear)
That was great. XD
Well, that topic ended better than I expected.
Part 2.40 (This is one of the choices that would come up on the choices screen at the end of the episode/part)
You know, I have disliked Namond for his actions back at when I first saw him, but now I feel pity for him. The guy only wanted to keep his family safe, but instead it cost him an ear, it nearly costed him his life and his whole family.

I forgive you Namond! ^_^
Part 2.41 (Ayyyy a solid 84% chose forgiveness.)
I liked this part. I wonder who will be the next?
Part 2.42 (Still got a ways to go with this POV)
I love how everyone's reaction was like "oh shit" and Kyra's standing there smiling.
I swear that's going to be a reaction image someday.
Part 2.43 (Tension building between the eldest two Glenmores)
I hope its Gared.
I can't blame Elaena for being angry but I can't help but think "Leave Namond alone!". XD
Part 2.44 (Edmure finally sorting these two children out)
They're like the trolls from the new Kings Quest game lol I love it
:O Lyarra and Talia bonding coming? YES!!! I can't wait. ^_^
I'm really enjoying Elaena VS Namond.
You won't have to wait long, it's tomorrow : D
Lyarra & Talia and a special someone... something? I don't know how to describe them.
Part 2.45 (This is the closest Lyarra will ever come to having a child of her own)
I'm beginning to think Lyarra's not comfortable around kids, kids younger than her at least. Or maybe she doubts that she has a nurturing side.
Aww, what a cute puppy dog. Or is it a wolf cub?
Intended to be a husky, but textures are hard XD
Part 2.46 (I feel like we're long overdue for these two to have a chat.)
Link doesnt work for me.

Should be fixed now.
Talia would've said she 'lost it' or that Torrhen confiscated it. In response Lyarra likely would have said they'd be able to find her a new one.
Thanks it does work now.
Part 2.47 (Talia's still got those anger issues)
And she just snapped again. I hope Lyarra can do something to help Talia with her issues.
I'm loving what you're doing with Talia. Being moody and having these anger issues are great. I find it really interesting.
Part 2.48 (Finally seeing Lyarra's view on the whole Arthur situation)
I really love these two This whole Talia/Lyarra part is great.
Part 2.49 (Aaaand that's the end of this scene.)

Harys... what a two faced weasel.
