  • I'll rank them by how much I hate them as people, and love them as characters (which are the functions of good villains, I think) I won't include the likes of Ramsay or Handsome Jack, since they're not Telltale characters:

    1. Gryff Whitehill (He is an angry, petty, wonderfully written little man, who oppresses the Forresters because, well, he can. And because he's been indoctrinated by his father--who he loves--his entire life. He is also brilliantly voice acted by Sacha Dhawan, and is the focal point behind many of the game's most difficult decisions)

    2. Ludd Whitehill (Yeah, I love to hate the Whitehills. Ludd is great because he is bitter, narcissistic, hateful, and, all in all, just a complete asshole. But, he does love his family, namely the aforementioned Gryff, as well as his daughter Gwyn. He is even shown to be respectful to Lady Forrester, and capable of mercy in many instances. It's even implied it was the death of his wife that made him so hateful, of which Gryff was the cause, not that he holds it against him)

    3. The Crooked Man (I love how he's written and voice acted. He's essentially just a cunning, businessman running a monopoly on the people of Fabletown. Like Ludd, he is also shown to be capable of mercy and empathy--but, at the core of the character, control is his endgame. Power is his endgame. He really inspires hatred, despite the fact he's by no means, entirely evil)

    4. Bloody Mary. (She was the perfect counter-balance to the Crooked Man's dark, dire demeanour. Bloody Mary is loud and boisterous. And you really buy into how dangerous a threat to Bigby and Fabletown she is. I liked her character a lot)

    5. Carver (To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of Carver - I feel he underwhelmed and, in the end, came across as nothing more than a poor man's governor. That being said, I was always desperate to see him dead, I liked many of his lines, I liked Michael Madsen's voice work... I liked enough things about his character to earn him this spot)

  • 1: Handsome Jack hilarious and evil perfect

2: Luke I hated his character and tried to kill clem on many occasions with stupid decisions unoffical villain

3: Carver disappointing could of been better but has moments of awesome

4: stranger I hate him ruined my happy ending great villain

5: Jane she didnt save her sister, manipulative and forced decisions on clem in the end that should never have happened

    1. Bloody Mary. I love female villains, not just in video games, but in all sorts texts! She was a brilliantly evil and I really enjoyed her a lot, despite not being a big fan of The Wolf Among Us.
    2. Carver. Although he was hyped to be killed off too early. I enjoyed him never the less and there is no one I'd rather of had voiced him than Michael Madsen.
    3. The Crooked Man. A smart villain and wasn't disappointed with him at all. Worth the hype.
    4. Gryff Whitehill. Telltale did a amazing job with him tbh.
    5. Handsome Jack. The reason why he's at number five is because he is well written, amusing and his voice was perfection - god bless, Damon Clark. However though, I hate it when a fanbase starts acting as if a character - whether they are supposed to be the hero or the villain - actually did nothing wrong and is "misunderstood". I've seen people act as if he actually cared about his daughter and his abusive actions towards Rhys was invalid, hell I've seen people victim blame Rhys for idolizing him pre Tales and "he knew what Jack was like, so he must of knew what he was getting himself into". So really, I heavily hated him out of spite because the way the fandom - not just Tumblr wise - acted apologetic for strangling people just for shits and inslaving his own daughter, disgusted me. If it wasn't for that, then he'd be around at number 1 or 2.
  • I wish I could put Handsome Jack but he was introduced and in Borderlands 2.

    1. Randall
    2. Bloody Mary
    3. Aiden
    4. Stranger
    5. Gryff Whitehill
    1. Danny St. John (and all his fucked up depravity)

    2. Stranger: A bit flimsy but still a reflection of your choices

    3. The Crooked Man: Shame we didn't see more of him. His trial was probably the most intriguing parts of the game

    4. Randall: I liked the thug thing and him being sadistic. He is sort of the ridiculous evil type however he doesn't come off goofy or stupid

    5. Carver: Yeah he's the last on the list and he would have been higher if his life span wasn't the length of a sneeze and they gave him more complexity and reasoning for his actions

Other Villains: Nate: I don't consider him villainous at all except in Wyatt's story and that's pretty much all Eddie's fault

Whitehills: Goofy Villains overall. They used Ramsay for a lot of the Forrester's conflict. Just shows how weak they were overall

  • What? No Skun-k'ape?

I'll just go with modern style Telltale villains because I don't feel like spending hours rapidfiring Sam and Max villains

    1. The St. Johns
    2. Handsome Jack
    3. The Crooked Man
    4. The Stranger
    5. Nate
    6. Carver
    7. The Wither Storm
    8. Ludd and Gryff
    9. Bloody Mary
    10. Randall and Norma
    11. The Blazerods
    12. Vallory
    1. Gryff Whitehill (Game of Thrones) - Words can't describe how much I hate him. That's why he's my favorite Telltale villain. :P
    2. Handsome Jack (Tales From The Borderlands) - (Yeah, yeah... not a Telltale character cause he was introduced in the original Borderlands franchise but I wanted to include him) I mostly hate villains but when it comes to Handsome Jack, I always make an exception. He's such a funny villain yet so evil. I'm sad that he's gone, though. I hope he makes an appearance in Borderlands 3 with some kind of hologramic way, or something like that.
    3. Bloody Mary (The Wolf Among Us) - Same goes for her. Such a great villain. Hell, I even wanted her to beat the shit out of Bigby in episode 5.
    4. Randall (The Walking Dead: Michonne) - Good villain and also good looking one... well, kinda. I was close to killing him but I decided not to.
    5. Rickard Morgryn (Game of Thrones) - He's a good villain but also kinda weak written one. He had so much potential but his plan was just horrible. Dude, just ask Mira to marry you while both of you were on your way to the Rivet Gate, or wherever you two were going. AND DON'T REVEAL YOUR FUCKING PLAN TO HER, WHAT THE FUCK.

  • Woody and August are more anti-heroes than villains.
