I don't understand why Spongebob is so popular. It's super ugly. Main characters are stupid, unfriendly or greedy.
And that creepy captain at the beginning of each episode...
Old "Beetlejuice" cartoon is creepy too. I wouldn't let my kids watch it.
Canadian show "Roll Play" has nice songs but puppets (animals) they use are awful.
Another Canadian animated series "Toopy and Binoo". Something is wrong with it. Large, very talkative mouse and tiny cat. Cartoon is way too trippy.
Anime television series "Moomin" was popular in Europe in 90s. One character "The Groke" has ruined many childhoods.
Animals of farthing wood was a cartoon that was on in the 90s it was about a group of animals finding a new home after their woods were torn down, it wasn't creepy as such but the story was completly serious there were no jokes and main characters died all the time, I guess the fact that a depressing show like that was made for young children is creepy in itself. I loved it
People are saying that Courage the Cowardly Dog is creepy, but IMHO that show is like the most non-creepy show when I was a kid.

I found it mildly disturbing. It was more emotional than creepy to be honest, some episodes just hit me right in the feels.
