Now that I think of it the gif was giving me a silent hill vibe. That video just makes me sad, and I don't even know who Lisa was. Shows how powerful the moment is.
The gif had a color thing done to it I think, that's why it's like that. And it's from a very, very old game
This is the moment the gif … moreis from. It's dated, but it's one of those moments I view as unsettling and tragic at the same time. The track that plays is called No Tomorrow:

She was taking care of a patient called Alessa burnt by a cult, and caring for the girl took a toll but she was hooked on a drug so she couldn't leave. When Lisa says about 'how everybody else is dead' she's referring to the nurses and doctors in that hospital who have parasites on their backs and have become dead puppets in a way. Lisa was possibly different because she was one of the few people that ever cared for Alessa [at least in terms of tending to her burns] and many of the monsters in the game are manifestation of Alessa's fears.
What I love is at the very end of the game, if you get one of the good endings, undead Lisa comes back to drag this bad guy Kaufmann down a hole, preventing him from escaping and possibly saving Harry in the process. I remembered loving that when I first saw that ending XD I was like "yay she came back and helped!"
Darn good game though. Too bad there'll never be a remake of that, and Shattered Memories doesn't count.

Yes. Just you know, play it in the daytime you'll be fine XD
Beyond 1, 2 and 3 though I don't think I can recommend the later ones. After 4 [which was kinda meh] they started making them over in the west if I'm right and the style of horror and story just wasn't the same and lost what made it Silent Hill. Another reason why the Silent Hills reboot being cancelled was so hard hitting news because it showed promise of going back to what made Silent Hill great.
Silent Hill 2 is my favorite. If there was one I'd suggest to start at first I would recommend this one because that's when you can see the series was really starting to come into its own given how dated the first one is, it might be easier playing Silent Hill 1 after that. If you get Silent Hill 2 and it's the HD edition one, make sure to go for the original voice acting, the new one didn't quite hold up in my personal opinion. enter link description here
I swear, the end of this game, I won't spoil it but all I'll say is there's dialogue overlapping [much like this intro] and it made me cry buckets, and still does when I hear it. It's just so well done, hence why I say stick to the original english cast because they sound more natural like real people you could just meet in the street.
I guess I'll start off with the second one, probably because of the fact that I don't own the original PS and I don't really see any way to play the first one.

Edit: Messed up a little bit with the wording.
I wouldn't know, I don't own a playstation. Actually though I do own a PSP and it seems to be backwards compatible with that so I'll have to look into it.

Why?
Just wanna see how close people can get to figuring out what my name is. Thought I would make it kinda fun.
Edit: I have the same name as one of the characters in the TWD series.
Gary
Haha! Gary!
GARY!
I think I figured it out:
Gaaaaaarrryyy

You need to re-evaluate your life.
Genius. Arguing with me is pointless.
Fuck. You win, we're done here.
Yeah, that's it. Keep on running, Gary... if that even is your real name.
Is it?
And the winner is ..... THE AUTISTIC GAMER!
Ashur. Like the guy from Game of Thrones but with a U instead of an E.
I bet that no one on this forum will read my name correctly but hello there I'm Łukasz <333
You just really had to, huh? ;-;
You heard him everyone! Agruing with him is pointless, so don't do that!

That sounds interesting, do you recommend the silent hill series to someone who is a complete vagina and screams like a little girl from jumpscares?
Yes. Just you know, play it in the daytime you'll be fine XD

Isn't it on the PSN network or something. Often they have the old titles on there.
